Jesus is the Son of God....which through that also makes him a God

aren't Gods suppose to be all-knowing (smart) and indestructible..then why couldn't Jesus come up with a better plan than allowing himself to be nailed to a cross to be killed by those lesser than Gods..I didn't know Gods could be killed ...so it doesn't sound like Jesus was a God but maybe just a guy

It was destiny that the Lord & Savior would die for our sins.....The others alternative would be been for God to wipe the slate clean once again....But as he promised Noah that would never happen again.....there you go......So if I were you Funches I say to you once again, "Get on your knees and thank the good Lord above for what he did for you and me."

It was destiny that the Lord & Savior would die for our sins.....

ahhh destiny and that is the keyword which suggest that it was all planned before anything took place or even before humans were created ...which equate to it all being part of God's divine plan..so how could there be a sacrifice unless God lacks the power to change destiny ...it's time to stop blaming humans and blame the creator for what took place

Yeppers that is 100% correct. The Lord and Savior knew while at the right hand of God in Heaven all that was destined and prophesized for his life. This of how loving God truly is....,He could of just wiped everyone once again off the face of the earth...He did not....as promised to Noah.....but something had to be done about the sin of man......

Blame the Creator......Are you NEW.......I think not.......

well it clearly states that he carried all of our sin, illness, and everything else bad. So what if he didnt die? Then we just might all burn in hell. If you want i can give it to you right from the bible. maybe you should follow a plan that you can start today. You can get a bible at walmart for less than 6 bucks. and if you flip to the back pages, it breaks down what you can reay each day to complete it in a year.
Like Funches said,.... it was destiny. it was planned way before and im thankfull it was the way it was planned

which means that God knew all this would take place before Noah was born ...so it was God that still allow everything to take place because God wrote the movie script call "The Divine Plan" and now choose to blame everyone because they followed that script perfectly .....

Like Funches said,.... it was destiny. it was planned way before and im thankfull it was the way it was planned

and Funches also says that's why you shouldn't have any complaints with the world and to accept the world as it is because that is destiny...because to do otherwise so is to question God's Divine Plan and committ blasphemy

No actually not.....God created man with no sin.....And God gave man chance after chance to come around....He chose to believe what he wanted, and prayed to false idols......so God had no choice....And as Noah and his family remained loyal to God....That is why they were chosen to be the only survivors of the great flood.....Also Noah was long long before Christ....

see your missing the point...God is supposely all-knowing and therefore knew the outcome (destiny) of everything before he created anything but yet still created it..this either suggest that God didn't create or know anything or he created everything just to see the horror take place ...

The idea that God knows everything is an idea that was created by humans who can’t handle the thought that there are things that are unknown.

But this idea itself is a hugely contradictive concept. As is the idea of a ‘perfect’ God having created such an imperfect world.

These kinds of ideas were invented by men who were just trying to sweep everything that could not explain under a carpet. Ironically it has all come back to haunt them. Their very own story has become a huge conglomerate of inconsistencies and contradictions, all of which were supposedly inspired by God himself as a message to man. But this just flies in the face of God’s supposed perfection even more so.

The bottom line is that this picture can’t be correct. It flies in its own face. If there is a correct description of God in man’s possession it most certainly won’t be found in the Bible. The Bible has been proven to be nothing more than mythology. Angels with wings? A non-physical spiritual heaven where the streets are paved with Gold? It’s clear that the Bible is a fictional story not unlike the Lord of the Rings. The story betrays itself with its own contradictions and inconsistencies.

No there are some people in the world who are destined to be against God too remember Pharaoh and his heavy heart against Moses.

Remmeber sodom and Gormorrah where it was destroyed because they said to the angels of the lord come let us rape them.

Remember noah and the ark and how noah tried to save people from being destoryed for there hearts were hardened and did not have there ears opened for God sealed them.

Yes God gave us free will this is true every male female is born
with choice but some well never know God for i am not to Judge but it is the word of God which Judges them read revelation how the twelve tribes of Israel also well be judged and only 144 thousand of them well not get the mark of the beast and sealed but to be beheaded after that and persecuted for there wrong doings to the lord there God for no one shall get through the father for they have to go through the son and no one knows the father like the son and no one knows the son like the father. For there is only one.

why do people keep bringing up Noah ...when the story is obviously phoney ...

first of all two of every species on the planet couldn't have even fit on two arks ..

next the ark was filled with animals that had to be shi_tting all day long resulting in a methane gas build up especially since it rained forty days and night and the windows were shut to keep the water out

noah and his family would have to shovel sh_t all day long for forty days while breathing in methane and would have died after a couple of hours of breathing that sh_t in and one spark from anything would have ignited the methane and blown the ark to Heaven

The story of Noah was clearly allegorical. The authors were trying to show us that no matter how corrupt the world is we, like Noah, can be saved by the grace of God.

Everyone seems to put themselves in the position of the evil people who were drowned. laugh

The story was written for those who are pure of heart like Noah was.

People’s reaction to this story just goes to show that they view themselves as being unworthy.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I certainly identified with Noah when reading that story. It seems like everyone else views themselves as being the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Doesn’t anyone feel worthy????

What a terrible thought that everyone feels like a pathetic sinner. What do these people do that they feel so guilty all the time???

Doesn’t anyone feel like they would be Noah in that story????

It’s a terrible shame if they see themselves as the being among the bad people is all I can say. It doesn’t say much about how they live their lives. If God was going to have another flood I feel confident he would be knocking on my door looking for someone to build another ark.

People who believe that mankind is inherently evil must be inherently evil themselves. Otherwise they’d know it’s a crock.

You both need to wake up.....to you their stories to me.....they happen and they are as true as me writing this right now.....Please get over it.....If it's not what you believe then so be it....But please don't try and tell me NOT TO.....It will never happen as long as I have a breath in me.......

And trust me Abra what I know of you.....you don't even come close to putting yourself on the same level as Noah....no way dude. For one thing Noah was a Righteous man.....which you are not...Because if you question everything like you do....just doesn't work.

Typical Christian response. Judge, jury and executioner. The epitome of bigotry.

You have no idea who you are even talking to. You just put me down because I don’t buy into your fairytale. But buying into fairytales has nothing at all to do with being Righteous.

Why is it that Christians are so opposed to the idea of a righteous human being? Where do they think people like Noah came from????

In fact, this is a very negative and detrimental part of your whole philosophy on life. It’s based on the concept that all men are unworthy pigs. It’s an extremely negative philosophy. You’ll never get me to buy into such negative bigotry. I'm afraid I can't join you on that trip.

Everyone seems to put themselves in the position of the evil people who were drowned. laugh

so are you saying that all the people through-out history that drown in natural disaters were evil and died by the hands of God

The story was written for those who are pure of heart like Noah was.

pure of heart in this case means ignorant bliss

People’s reaction to this story just goes to show that they view themselves as being unworthy.

or maybe it means they may view themselves as having common sense

I don’t know about anyone else, but I certainly identified with Noah when reading that story.

so do that means you build boats and squeeze animals in it

It seems like everyone else views themselves as being the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah.

well it was less bloody than the war in Heaven ..and more fun

Doesn’t anyone feel worthy????

hey even God own son wasn't worthy enough to live

What a terrible thought that everyone feels like a pathetic sinner.

last time I heard everyone was still a pathetic sinner..apparently Jesus died for nothing

why do these people do that they feel so guilty all the time???

everyone is guilt of something...even God ..for creating the whole situation

anyone feel like they would be Noah in that story????

and shovel animal sh_t on a boat for forty days and night

terrible shame if they see themselves as the being among the bad people is all I can say.

that the quilt trip that the religious try to place on people

isn’t say much about how they live their lives. If God was going to have another flood I feel confident he would be knocking on my door looking for someone to build another ark.

try telling God to built it himself or conjure one up and just don't make any more floods or stop creating imperfect humans

People who believe that mankind is inherently evil must be inherently evil themselves. Otherwise they’d know it’s a crock.

right it's all a bunch of crock

Hey Abra,

If the streets of heaven are paved with gold, wouldn't that be a little um, heavy? to stay up above the earth? Just curious...

I have refurbished a few wooden boats in my day, but I never took an animal sailing unless women count as animals. Some of them certainly acted like it, always wanting to play with my tiller under the sheets.

And yes, all the boats were sail boats. I’m not into motors. I guess Noah didn’t need to worry about a propulsion or steering system. I view the story as being purely allegorical. No sh*t shoveling required. It’s just a fairytale to make a point.

everyone is guilty of something...even God ..for creating the whole situation

laugh

Good point.
