The other day I watched a vid by Gregg Braden on the alarming and imminent infertility of our species, and one of the causes are micro-plastics!

What I hadn't realised is that fleece sweaters, blankets, 'baby nests' etc. produce millions of micro-plastics and we all have been wearing & using fleece for the last 4 decades!!
I usually wear fleece vests as they're warm and I easily get cold.
Millions of micro-plastics are released when for instance rubbing over a fleece sweater or when washing it :o

Micro-plastics end up in nature, our water supplies, the oceans, and have even been found in foetuses in the womb!!

Ready to eat meals packed in plastic to be heated in the microwave. Then toxins are released from the plastic that you eat with the food...

Since micro-plastics are in the oceans (alarming amounts) they're in fish etc. so the entire food-chain is contaminated. Our food-chain, but also that of every other living creature on the planet!

Plastic water bottles release toxins and almost everyone these days has a plastic water bottle they carry everywhere.
Bottled water (spring water) bottles, same thing, esp. if the bottle is the thin type that barely holds its shape when opened or half empty. The softer the plastic, the worse it is.

Of course there are more causes for our species' fertility to have reached an alarming phase but micro-plastics are one of 'em.
To illustrate, men's sperm should have 90 mill sperm cells per ML. That has been on the decline for years. If it reaches <40 mill sperm cells per ML it's the critical point when conception becomes difficult, if it gets even less conception becomes very very difficult if not rare.
We reach the alarm point of <40 mill sperm cells per ML in November 2021...
One major contributor are micro-plastics.
Contrary to what the medium tries to convince people of, mankind is on the brink of extinction unless we do something real fast!~
News & media convey there are too many people on the planet but science & research shows this is total nonsense. Scientific facts & research shows we can feed up to 16 billion people (!!!) WITHOUT any weird shizzel like GM and toxic fertilisers etc. We've only just reached 8 billion so there's no reason for alarm whatsoever.
Few people know this as the false narrative is what we're exposed to (news & media) over and over again so people take this on board as most don't do their own research, or simply don't care.

As for myself, and back to plastics... not sure what to do with all the fleece vests I have... If I dump everything it would also mean my settees, cuddly blankets, sweaters, etc. Then it's out of my home, but will still get into nature via the garbage dump.
It should be collected as chemical/toxic waste, but it isn't.

Micro-plastics are a big problem. And that's an understatement.

The least we can do is to stay aware of all this, spread the news, and buy as few things as possible that add to the contamination as possible whether foods, drinks, clothes, or furniture.
We owe at least that to ourselves and the ones who will inherit the world from us.

Is anybody else confused?

First she post that everybody should bury their head in the sand, lock yourself in your safe room, and make sure everybody receives a partition medal. Then her next post is all human kind is doomed, the world has been filled with micro plastic and reproduction is not going to exist in the near future.
First off let's all realize how useless human life is in the first place. If all humans were wiped out the earth would be a much better place for all the plants and animals. Humans are extremely selfish and ungrateful, we could be doing so much more to protect this planet. Nature tends to have ways of balancing out things, things like diseases and disasters that control the population of species, however humans tend to interfer with nature's plan. So if it's true that sperm rates are rapidly dropping due to human inventions it sounds like karma to me. The biggest problem I can see with this is that the most advanced (domesticated) people will be wiped out first. Not sure how much pollution and toxins the people in the jungles of Africa deal with. It seems like everytime humans create ways to make life better there is a counter reaction to it. As stated in her other post maybe we all should just ignore these negative things that happen? Or maybe these "geniuses" can figure out how to fix these problems? However we would not want to bring any negativity into these "geniuses" lives.
Long story short is we have to take the good with the bad. Without low points in life we won't appreciate the high points. For every action there is a reaction. It's really more about our reactions instead of locking information out of our lives just because it may cause us a little stress.

I didn't read the entire post, because it was too long, and I'll be dead in 25 years.

I can at times appreciate your posts but this one not so much.
First of all, continuing speaking of "her" and "she". I'm here, ya know, it's rather rude to place me outside of the conversation by talking about what me and I say as if I'm not here, and to ridicule me at the same time.

Also, your interpretation of both my posts that you are referring to is exactly that: YOUR interpretation and not in the slightest what I am conveying.
It shows you haven't even read my posts and/or don't understand them nor what I am conveying. Which is no skin of my nose, your thing, but then leave me out of that as again that's YOUR interpretation.
I'm not responsible for people not reading properly or not understanding things.
I'm merely spreading knowledge and awareness. If that is beyond you then why react, I wonder? A bit pointless.

The rest of your post is again your own doom & gloom view of the world which has no relevance to either one of my postings nor my view of the world.

The forms are for interpreting and discussing things otherwise there would just be a "like" button and comments would not be allowed.
The use of "her post" and "she said" was because it was not a personal attack , just a statement saying the two post contradict each other. I think it was pretty clear the other post is about it is best to avoid news and media. Maybe some people don't consider Gregg Braden as being media, but if he is stating "facts" and promoting stories he is news and/or media.
The story is about more then just not buying micro plastics, that is why fertility decline was listed first.
The earth, nature, the world, all of it is already seeing problems with "only 8 billion people" and with out human intervention and developments such as fertilizers, gmo's, plant manipulations we would not be able to feed these 8 billion people, it's only human interaction that would allow the world to feed another 8 billion much less the other reactions of nature, the elimination of many species, the resources and pollution. It is only a matter of time before something catch's up to humans and takes a large quantity out, the more it is pushed, the more likely it is. Just ask the dinosaurs, Aztecs, Inca's, Greeks, the list goes on and at some unknown time in the future there will be more humans that deal with whatever happens. Is that gloom and doom? Or is that about making responsible decisions? In reality it's all the roll of a dice anyway, we can be part of the solution, or we can hide from anything bad and just pretend that everything is going to be OK. This is a big reason it is so easy to sell people on religion,
