Is there a way to filter who views my profile? I hate getting likes and messages from people not even remotely close to my preferences. Um wondering if people are for real in here. It could be this site is not the best choice for my age group and preferences.

From what I know, you can't stop anyone viewing your profile. But you can set limits, on who can actually send you messages. Go to your account, mail settings, and there is the option to set limits.

No you can not block people from viewing your profile. Just as you can not stop people from looking at you as you walk down the street.
Ignore, delete, block and report if their messages are offensive. |

Melinda, I agree with you. There should be an easy way to dismiss a profile, at least in the search section. When you click the X on their profile, it should remove them from your search and their search results. Blocking each profile seems extreme and they might be in the forums here, does that mean you can not see what they post in the forums here if you have them blocked? I reserve that for the scammers who contact me.
