Knackered but very happy: I bought the first baby clothes for my future grandchild.
It had to be gender neutral as we don't know that yet. I'm going to visit my girl tomorrow and I wanted a few baby clothes
Went all the way into town, lot of walking to get there, then get to the drugstore next to my local supermarket and they got some really cute baby things as well Could've saved me the hassle in town, but nevertheless happy with what I got there.
Bought a bib in the drugstore with a funny text on it but won't give that yet. Saving that for X-mas.

Gosh, I could seriously go overboard with this, hihi. LOVE IT!!!

Worried about my mother. She fell and couldn't get up anymore, couldn't move at all. She has a special alarm, managed to press that at some point.
Police had to break down the door and then they had to try and get her up. She's aching all over, nothing is broken thank goodness.
But she can barely move around, can't sit for any length of time, then there is a problem with her mobile and internet for some reason which sux as she has to phone and arrange things but she can't. I tried to phone her, but that doesn't work either.
She lives too far away for me, plus I can't fix that stuff either. Nor can I help her much due to my own ailments.

She has to arrange to have someone come over to help her bathe etc. and put her into some clean clothes, get ready-to-eat meals delivered as she cannot cook now, and so on and so forth.

If only she'd moved closer to me and my kids. She thought about that some 15 yrs back but doesn't want that. Would've made things a helluva lot easier now.

Apparently she bent over to do something, got dizzy, and completely past out and fell.
Might be related to her blood being too thin or thick again. And I don't know if she checked it now that she can barely move around...

Been a very busy day but feel great, got a lot accomplished so feeling satisfied.

Much better than yesterday. Whatever ailment stopped me in my tracks yesterday seems to be passing.

Like I should fade away into oblivion.

I loved buying for my grandsons, boys was a novelty for me but granddaughters rule! You only get to be a1st time grandma once, so shop to your hearts content

Naw! I gave up on that game due to non participation of my co-player. I am playing a new game, naked leap frog. It is boy, girl, boy, girl. But I was kicked out of practice for not jumping high enough!

Despite some frustration with my mini me I'm overall feeling pretty good.

Very relaxed.

Beginning to feel more and more for visiting Aseal, the seal rescue on the next island :)
The nurture them back to health, do surgeries if need be, and when healed release them back into the North Sea.
They operate on almost the entire Dutch coastline.

Maybe this weekend. Bummer is you have to make a reservation beforehand as they only do small groups at the same time. I always prefer going when I feel like it, hihi.

Feeling great! Just got home. Dinner was fantastic. My son can cook for sure!
I can't remember the last time I had such a great dinner.
Lobster soup, bavette steak in red port sauce with all kinds of wonderful greens, watermelon ice cream with marinated watermelon and whipped cream in a bit of liquor (can't recall what).
I even had white wine with the soup and red with the bavette. Both me and my son (the chef cook there) had told the owner I'm a terrible light-weight with alcohol. But he's a real wine connaisseur so he still came up with excellent wines that didn't take my head off.
The first time in my life I actually enjoyed a red wine!! That was a Belgian one.

Absolutely great meal, and a great couple of hours!

Excited about getting my ID badge today so I can start substitute teaching.

And totally thrilled about the insight I had this morning... things are beginning to move in the right direction and making a lot more sense to me.

Cannot explain it.

As if weighted residual crap has been burned away from my very essence.
