This article is interesting, about people making the decision to remain single. And NOT because they're still not over their ex, or gender bashing stuff.
Just a pure decision for themselves and their life.

I stumbled upon it, and I find myself thinking about it of late.

Only I'd change it into "Empowered women have only 2 options..." as I don't see myself as ambitious.
My problem is more to find an equally empowered man. So it's either finding one or staying alone.

I've spent my entire life caring and supporting family and friends! Both sets of grandparents, raised 4 daughters, ex's ,dad thru the dementia (holy hell), during the pademic and now mom.... I'm frickin exhausted and do not want another person to care for. I'm done!

I guess it depends on what is meant by; empowered, strong, or ambitious.

Could be no one wants to hang out with somebody who is whiny, self-centered, and demanding. So the choice to remain alone is not really a choice.

Could also be that, "super supportive" is code speak for "super submissive", and there just aren't that many men like that out there.
