I found out this summer that I am allergic to dairy, soy and egg. For a girl who could have lived out her days on pizza, ice cream and tall cold glasses of skim milk this was a hard hit. I've become a master at reading labels but still running into recipe troubles. Soy is in just about EVERYTHING!
I bought a raw food cook book which has been helpful but I'd like more choices and easier alternatives. Vegan cookbooks still show too many recipes with soy. So here I am, a cooking novice to begin with, looking for some variety in recipes. I'm open to any suggestions but please remember that by novice I mean I'm pretty much a complete kitchen-illiterate.

Well, sure. I'm hoping to find recipes to curb my Bohemian gotta-have-bakery addiction. It's been much more difficult to watch sugar content as well. But as they say, ya gotta pick your battles!

I was looking up information for my grandson, who was showing signs of food allergies, and also possible mild autism...so these sites had some good information, links, recipes, stores where you can purchase alternatives, not only on gluten but casein, (dairy) products...hope this helps some.....also if you google dairy allergies recipes, or, soy allergy recipes, this comes up with many great sites. good luck

bbq's. Not what you think.
Hamburger, can of tomato sauce. Onion. Salt and pepper. Cook meat and onion. Add everything else. Cook. Serve on whatever bread you like and can eat.

Swiss Steak. Round steak, cut and lightly flower. Fry. Pour in can of Tomato JUICE. Cook. Have with salad, potatoes, whatever veggies you like.

Stew. This is more of a soup than the stew gravy most people are used too. Brown stew meat or hamburger. Add water and beef bullion. Cut potatoes, onions, carrots. Salt and pepper. Cook until veggies are done.

I don't have any recipes I can send but you might find some on a web site I go to for other recipes. It is: Recipe source, just into that into your search and it will take you there. They have over 700,000 recipes from all over the world and a special section for your type of recipes. Wish you luck.

I use stewed toamtoes instead of the tomato sauce with the meat and pour over white rice. Yummy

I advise for food allergies to Net surf. I recently developed a milk allergy, so I've switched to soy. I'm not sure if both are allergens.
