What are the things that stand out in your mind; Good and bad?
And have any of the bad things been resolved?

how are you ? this year has been good and bad...but its turning out great at the end

well lets see,
I got divorced from my wife of 9 years in Febuary. Met what I thought was a great girl in March. Asked hr to marry me in Novemeber, and she left me for her abusive X husband two weeks before Christmas... So needless to say this year blew chunks. Next year will be much better...I will be in combat. |

2007 for me was rough..very rough, thats why it will be made up "very well" for 2008..i can feel it..
will be a better year for me!!

Good topic, Tom!
At a very low point in my life I joined this site. You, Tom, were the very first friend I met on here, and remain my best friend. Thank you for being there for me throughout thick and thin. You are the best!!! And then, of course, there's the wedding and all.......... 
I've had QUITE the busy year. And no, some of the bad things are not totally resolved, but hopefully will be March of '08. |

Good in that my 13 grad students I have had for 3 years are moving on. They are great young adults! I am so proud of them!
Good in the my family en friends are close en strong. Bad in that my mother's health is failing. I am hoping better in 2008 for her. Good in that I have agreed to a first date in quite some time for New Years Eve in NY. Whehooooo. Happy New Year everyone! |

This has been a year of recovery for me! I broke my right heel in bad car crash Sept 06. I only started walking in Feb 07, 3 months of PT - wheelchair, walker, crutches, cane - what a long tedious journey. Somedays now you can hardly notice a limp and some days I overdo it so much I have tears in my eyes.
I am looking forward to a new year filled with hope, love and good health - For ALL! Lucy

I only started walking in Feb 07, 3 months of PT - wheelchair, walker, crutches, cane - what a long tedious journey. Speaking personnaly, I've had heartbreak on a few occasions, but that is outweighed by the number of awesome friends here on jsh who have pulled me through some traumatic periods. Even though they don't realize that.
I hope and pray that the friends I have found here stay here and help to keep each others spirits up when times get hard. Good friends are hard to find, but easily lost if you do or say the wrong things.

I dropped a cupboard I was putting up on it. Apart from that, everything is just fine

Newbie here...the year started off badly and only got worse. It has been a year of sadness.. and heartache but one of discovery.. 2008 has got to be better.. Looking forward to making some new friends and hopefully something meaningful in the future. Happy New Years everyone....
