Glad that this year is almost over.
It has been a bad year. My wife passed away on Jan, 29th 2007 I broke my leg on Sept. 15th 2007 Got a pin and 4 screws put in my leg. Right Femur, Right above my knee to my hip. The only good thing that has happened to me this year. My niece and her 3 children are back in my life, as is my sister and her son. Also found out who my true friends are.. Friends rally around you when the chips are down. I also meet a new extended family here on JSH.Some of you just don`t know how much I value your online friendship. I wish everyone here on JSH a very Happy and Prosperous New Year. |

This has been a year of recovery for me! I broke my right heel in bad car crash Sept 06. I only started walking in Feb 07, 3 months of PT - wheelchair, walker, crutches, cane - what a long tedious journey. Somedays now you can hardly notice a limp and some days I overdo it so much I have tears in my eyes. I am looking forward to a new year filled with hope, love and good health - For ALL! Lucy  I pray for a complete recovery for you young lady. TravelArranger  I just started walking with a cane 2 weeks ago, after being non-weight bearing on my right leg for 11 weeks. Went from wheelchair, to walker, to cane in a 4 week period. The therapists told me to pass on the crutches. Best of luck to you. Ed

Well the good in my life is that I graduated from a new career choice in May and got an excellent job in my new field by August. It was much better than an entry level position that I thought I would have to take. I did not lose as much money as I thought I would.
As for the bad ... I am trying to turn my life around after coming out of a nine year relationship. I thought once I got through school we could work things out and it never did happen. We just recently decided to call it quits. So, I am looking for a new love in 2008. Hopefully someone that will stay with me through the good times and the bad. I want someone that will not give up on me for once. Whatever happens I am definately ready. I never thought I would be starting over on my own but every relationship just molds me into a better person. Happy New Year's to all!! Gina |

2007 was a year of sadness, but also a year of growth. I learned to be stronger from the trials. I already know Feb. is going to be a rough time, but I am really hoping the new year brings much happiness.
