I have come to an understanding in life,we say we "thought" we were in love after a breakup but the fact is is we "were" in love,love comes in degrees and levels so to say I "thought" I was in love when actually you "were" in love is to short change yourself,a feeling is the only tangible thing that is not touchable,I don't like being short changed myself.Just a thought.

i hear everyone talk about love but i never see it! more than half of every merrage today ends up in a divorse, how are we suppose to know what love is without a dad and a mother in our lives to show us?! i have almost given up on love, i would be happy for just a true friend that is always ther for me insted... here here 
we don't have many to use as role models these days, which is why it's important to work at your relationship...give 100% always i have to be at least remotely attracted to the person, something has to draw me to him, either eyes, or smile...something.. after that, love comes easy for me, it's endurance that's the b*tch for me |

I prefer love to looks, but let's face it, there has to be a physical attraction first.

DING! DING! We have a winner. Hey that is what I go by. Attraction is looking across the room and saying: "That person is HOT!". Love is looking across the room 30 years later and saying the same thing. Just a thought... You summed it up great! and there is alot more than just looks in a love/attraction relationship to inspire that "That person is HOT!" 
It's looking 1st, talking 2nd and finding out if there is a reason to continue to build a fountdation for that 30 yrs. later.
