He was my third nephew to me
After her divorce

Why you love my niece so grand

She wishes better parents he had

He’s not your real father at all
My brother is and always will be

Thank you Robin! My youngest nephew is going through this very situation. It’s wrong for any child to be told “You’re a total disappointment. Strange how the stepfather loves my niece but not him and it seems and my ex sister-in-law does nothing to stop him from saying it. That’s why I wrote this poem and even though he may never read it I felt I should to all those who are going through the same situation.

Yes it is LadyWind. It’s not a good situation for my nephew to be in. No child should be in such a situation.

Any chance of offering to have him for holidays, even the odd weekend? They may appreciate the break and you can love him to bits....

No since he doesn’t live here and technically we don’t share custody of him, only my brother and ex sister-in-law. I think my brother tries to check on him more though.
