I think being a comedian can get ya a date. And hopefully after the clothes "magically" fall off, you don't find out the jokes on you.

A good sense of humor is definitely a big plus in anyone, and more so in a partner. I, personally value it highly! However, I have known people who can be humorous but fail to appreciate the other person's humor! This can really create problems. Also where, intentionally, or otherwise sarcasm is blended with humor, things can turn bad! All said, a good sense of humor is something I appreciate a lot. Laughter supposedly evolved to enhance connectedness and although the reverse can certainly happen , I cannot imagine a life without laughter .

it would depend on other qualities, but consider meeting someone with no sense of humor.... For me a sense of humor is a requsite, but only one, of a few others. Also, doesen't the laughter start after the clothes magically fall off? Shakes I was thinking more like before .. during and after .. but hopefully not at any inappropriate moments

Many people on dating sites list humour as a preference in an ideal mate .. But is laughter enough to get you a date ... or perhaps magically make your clothes fall off How about this idea....I pick up a girl and have a date. She says nothing will make her clothes fall off. I ask if I may use her bathroom. I secretly replace her spray deodorant with a can of Pam non-stick cooking spray. She goes to the bathroom to take a shower before we leave for dinner and when she comes out her clothes fall off her body like it is magic. She will think it is a sign from a higher power. I thought it was Marilyn Monroe that said: "Make a woman laugh and you're halfway there." I looked it up and it seems that what she really said was: "If you can make a woman laugh you can make her do anything." I feel like I'm a little more comfortable with just being "halfway there."
