Sadly sipping whiskeys it is way past twelve
Addin addies is risky but i hit a few rails
Misty eyes A silent cry inside louder than hell
Trying to crack through my facade
But this dam holds well
So I'll get high to get by and high five with dry eyes
Telling all these white lies while consuming all these white lines
An archetypical addled addict that rambles fanatic; it's tragic fighting am uphill battle with Xanax but losing to a crack habit
Too insignificant to kill myself but what's left to lose
So I selfishly hide in the shelter of my drug abuse
No wasting money so it's fine to reuse
Heroin needles in the sink and I'm given the boot
Haven't been high since the small town
Watching the sky to see if falls down
Waiting on the fallout

thank you so much! I wanted it to be jarring so I kept breaking up the tempo and show the discord that was in my mind at the time of my addiction

A lot of poets use Soundcloud. I have never done it myself, but I find Allpoetry.com is interesting and has a ton of competitions, many ask you to read your poetry for a radio station too. But I have never wanted to.
