I just read about it today. It is a new operating system by Google, It's features include Wiki, Facebook, Blogger, Youtube and other web applications right on your desktop. Looks like a nice sleek design. I just burnt a copy of it from there web site. I plan on checking it out on my slave drive.
Has anybody else heard of or even used this OS before? Would love some feed back. Here is the link to it, for anybody who is interested. http://thinkgos.com/index.html |

Nothing to do with Google:
Google, the Google logos, are trademarks of Google Inc. gOS is not affiliated with Google or their partners. Its the OS that comes on the Green PC sold at Walmart (and other stores) hence the name gOS. The hardware is made be Everex. Alas, the apps you mention are just links to the relevant web page, although I do believe the browser acts along the lines of Flock (might even be flock). For the records, its a .deb based distro (based on Ubuntu) with the Enlightenment WM. Still looks interesting and well worth checking out! Ta, ~C |
