i dated a girl for 7 years all through highschool and college. not really sure how to go about meeting someone new now that i'm out of the comfort zone i've been in for so long. any advice???

Adam i too am a shy guy and this is what i have to say that you can take for what it's worth...
it's okay to be shy, don't don't let being shy stop you from attempting anything! It's better to ask, and be turned down, to never have asked at all. ...i've seen TOO MANY guys get girls that i could never understand how they got, simply because they had the guts to ask, so with that in mind i say to you... it's okay to be shy, but don't let your shyness stop you from asking that girl to dance, offering her a drink (as lame as that may sound or how fast it may get denied), and do NOT get discouraged from any denials... you see how many catches some of those fishing boats bring in? and they say there's one in the sea for everybody... boy that'll take some sortin out haha! ok i'm ranbleing now, have a great night and good luck in your search! |

In fact, go out and try to get turned down. It's harder than you think. But do NOT offer to buy her a drink. There are women that go out just to see how many drinks they can get for free. Besides, you shouldn't need to pay for her attention. |

Ok...(suprise, suprise!) I'm going to have to comment on this.
While being yourself is always the best policy, women tend to be attracted to men who are confident. Shy guys can sometimes be mistaken for less than manly. Shy is cute...But don't be afraid ...They can smell fear. He he. Good luck, man. |
