That is awesome. Here in northeast US area, the the first partial phase eclipse will be visible before moonset at 5:50 AM. The sunrise will also be at 5:50 AM, and the best viewing will be at dawn and the twilight.

We can't over here as the moon is full at 1.15pm so for us it's broad daylight.

I've once seen a full lunar eclipse during sunset. I think in 2011. It was the most amazing thing!! We took many pictures, my then partner had a good camera. We'd gone out to sit on a dyke to watch it, some drinks and nibblies with it. We had a great time while watching the entire eclipse right in front of us.

Not sure about pockets, but my wallet was pretty much cleaned out at the crystal shop this afternoon, haha.

The moon will be full here at 5:14am, but it also sets at the same time and it's expected to be mostly cloudy. I'll be awake at that time, but it's doubtful I'll be able to see it due to the clouds and the mountains.

I'm going to have to make do with the energies since I won't be able to see it.
So far I haven't seen the near full moon either. Again cloudy tonight. So if that's the same tomorrow night I won't see it at all, energies only.

I have a nice window ledge to set my gemstones and crystals on. Fortunately my new room faces the side that the moon is usually on.

I feel the energies for sure. In one sense I can't get to my feelings, yet at the same time I'm very intuitive. I noticed that with one of my new crystals this afternoon. I immediately got a message/channelling when I was holding it, while still in the shop and talking to one of the owners. And another part of the message later on at home.
So it seems a bit odd, one hand side the sense I'm not all that in touch while at the same time I seem incredibly connected?

Also an increased ability to close doors on the old, which I usually find very very difficult and tend to stay past the sell-by date.
At the same time a tendency of "don't gimme any chit!" That's what led to closing that one door as well, and immediately another one opened?!! Only a few hours apart!

I feel this moon adds to this transmutation I've been going through for months. Been getting that message for quite some time. Now I keep getting messages (from cards and readings) that I shouldn't hesitate, take action, go for it, etc.
Great. I don't want to, haha. That's probably why it is taking so long.

No, it really doesn't matter if you see it or not. Least that's the way it's always been for me.

It's all perfectly timed, as usual, for me. On Thursday I got the news that I'm getting a roommate. It triggered a major PTS reaction in me, issues I thought I had worked through. But, like an onion, the layers need to be peeled away to get to the core. Guess I hadn't reached the core yet, haha. Reflecting on it over the last couple days, I believe I'm much closer to the core. It will require work on my part, grumble grumble, haha, but in doing so I'll finally be able to heal and release whatever it is that keeps me from allowing others to get too close to me.

It's exciting, as well as scary, but I'm totally up for it because it no longer serves me well. I really do want to have close relationships with others, and maybe even someday let a man into my life... maybe, haha.

Well, I can imagine having a knee-jerk reaction to that news! I think it's also an age thing. At a certain age, when your kids leave the nest etc. you are also ready to have your own life back, your freedom, and to have your own space again.
When is the last time you had that? I think decades ago?
And sharing with a romantic partner is not a problem, at least I never felt they were as they resonated with me.
But at some point in life you want your own space, at least that's how it felt and feels for me.
Then having that in a way and again having to share, with a stranger...

And yes, the energies are sure powerful. When I tune in right now, it's so still and quiet. I do hear an occasional bird, but it's as if even nature is still.
And reading the energies of this moon in Sag and the energies of the eclipse, I seem to mostly feel the energies of the upcoming eclipse. So far.

I did have stupid dreams 2x nights on end about an ex. The last one and tonight the one before whom I left about 9 yrs ago now. No regrets whatsoever! So why that dream?

And I always truly enjoy hearing from them.... they are ex's for a reason...I wish them the best but I've got no inclination to travel a road from the past.
