Yes, a half today. I work full days this weekend. My schedule will most probably be changing in two weeks.

Earth has been around a million years and is pretty good at taking care of itself... for another million yesrs...
Man on the other hand.... hmmm.... wont be.......

The Day of rolling the Earth:
It is the day on which God had rolled out the earth. It was on 25th of the 11th Arabic month. It is a blessed day on which fasting is desirable, according to the belief of the Shiites.
The Quran said: And after that He spread (rolled) the earth. He extracted from it its water and its pasture, And the mountains He set firmly. As enjoyment [i.e., provision] for you and your grazing livestock.
The meaning
The globe at its beginning was submerged by heavy rainwater, but that water gradually settled in the earth's depressions, and the seas and oceans were formed, and the land rose on its edges and gradually expanded. Mecca was the first land point that appeared from under the water, according to Islam.
God rolled the earth, spread it out and make it like an egg, so that it would be habitable and walk able. Then He took out what was in it of water and pasture. He made mountains, paths, trees, and what people eat of fruits, so that it was fit for life.
