so i met someone on JSH, she lives about a 4 hour car ride away... she wanted to meet, so we agreed she would drive up here and rent a room, (this was at her offer) and we'd spend about a week together, cause that's the amount of time we both have off work...

i never heard from her today, at all.. no phone call, no email, no IM, no nothing... ehh

i kinda had figured i was going to get stood up today anyway, so i really don't care.


But... *shrug* i was kinda hopein to meet someone, woulda been nice to have someone to potentially give a kiss @ midnight on new years ya know... oh well, another year without... i've lived so far one more wont kill me lol! unless there's some girls who might wanna fill in :) any takers? I had that happen once too. She lived about thirty-five minutes away, and suggested we meet when she had to be in town one day. I never saw her. She emailed me two days later and apologized, said her car broke down. I gave her another chance and she stood me up again. Havent tlaked to her since.

Wow, this is why I never give people a second chance that can't take the time to call and explain what is going on!! If they don't have the respect to call you the first time, why bother?

my strategy would be to only meet the ones that don't suck.
if they suck then i just wouldn't agree to meet up with them!

maybe we should have a monetary security deposit or something.
then if both parties agree to meet, they submit their age,
recent photo and statement about their drug use, smoking and
drinking habits. if they don't show they forfeit their deposit!

if the picture or age or status is inaccurate they forfeit
their deposit. if they are BOTH lying sacks of it, then they
have to get married!!
