I've been watching the old classics with Ali and Frazier. That's the real stuff.

I still like to watch older boxing.

I am remembering back to high school days, when there was a popular game called “stand up arm wrestle”. Two people stand at an angle with right hands (or left) grasped and feet planted on the ground. The object is to move your hand to throw the person off balance and make the move their feet. I played the game with the biggest and strongest guy in the class (and also the nicest). He simply lifted me off the ground with one hand.

I don't know what you are all talking about. A different generation.

I was a huge Ali fan from when he was still Cassius Clay.
Float like a butterfly and sting like a bee. |

You gotta respect and appreciate Cassius Clay AKA Muhammad Ali he set the standard and did something with the sport that nobody had done yet and unfortunately no matter who you are from that point on you're going to be really good but you're never going to be as great as I am I can name a list of bunch of fighters I mean Mike Tyson was one Pacquiao Manny Pacquiao was another even Foreman but none of them suck up to the fact that they're basing their fighting style and technique off of his

It seemed that boxing 30 or 40 years ago was more interesting. My dad always had it on so I was exposed to it at an early age. My favorite was the middleweight division in the Marvin Hagler era. So many great boxers: Hagler,Leonard, Duran, Hearns, Pryor, Guerrero.

I did watch some boxing a long time ago. In my family, I was the only one who liked boxing, which is ok with me. With the internet, I get to see some of those really old fights.

I love boxing.
I grew up watching it. I think today's HW division is nothing compared to what it was in the past. I think the 90s was the last great era in boxing, with Holyfield, Tyson, Lewis. |

I think MMA and the rise of the UFC really hurt the boxing industry.

I had the opportunity to meet Tim Witherspoon and Evander Holyfield. It didn't work out.
