rut .. is a poor choice of words . ... I am not sure if you are looking for sympathy , justification or or both ... Clearly the lack of intimacy is not one sided ., you have both played a part in the demise of your connection with each other and have allowed it to progress and become dysfunctional .
As for ED .. there are many reasons this can happen . Perhaps start with a medical assessment to rule out pathological causes .
