When it comes to current music within the last ten years or so, I got into bands like Moon Taxi, Fitz & The Tantrums and -- despite her unnecessary twerking fits -- I really like Lizzo.
But my heart is with the older artists, and it annoys me that mainstream radio refuses to play their newer music... ...which is why I (here comes the plug) created Modern Retro Radio, which plays current music from all the pop/rock/r&b legends (www.ModernRetroRadio.com). I'm also a musician and record my own music with a collab partner. |

If SRV had continued to live, he absolutely would've dethroned Clapton as the the "God" of the blues.

Newsflash for you son here's the king of the blues ====
FUEL TO THE FIRE - RORY GALLAGHER https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XomvOYJ2Slo The man who passed when asked to join the Stones, the man that Joe Perry said in his book was "the only guy to blow us off the stage in true rock n roll style",the man that Hendrix really did say was the greatest but he is largely unknown in America. He toured here a couple of times but he hated/was terrified of flying. He's a household name in Europe. Just an Irish lad and his 'Strat and he is the undisputed 'Strat tonemaster and the only effects he ever used was a treble booster. |
