What is it about you?
Is it your point of view?
Or is it the way you make me smile.
That makes it all worthwhile.

You have that boyish grin.
That grabs my heart within.
I would love to take a walk.
Hand n hand and talk.

About anything that comes to mind.
Just to see what we find.
I love to hear you laugh.
I can’t seem to get enough.

We talk till the wee hours of the morning.
Just about everything and anything.
It does not get boring.
We seem to have fun exploring.

What each other thinks.
As we sit and have a few drinks.
All the things we talk about.
There is no doubt.

We both do see.
How life and people can be.
At times we joke and tease.
But it is all done with such ease.

There is no pressure.
As we take this adventure.
It seems we see eye to eye.
That we can not deny.

No promises have been made.
But I would not ever trade.
How you have become my friend.
And together the time we spend.
I hope this friendship last till time transcend.
