We are all talking about how much fun we are going to have on
thanksgiving day, I was thinking what about the people that are going to
be alone or sick at home? or anywhere

Does anyone think about the others who áre alone, with no one to share
this day of grace?

or about those who don't have any food?

Maybe Im silly, for thinking about that, but no matter how much fun Im
having I always think about those less fortunate, and lonely, even thoe
I give to the shelters and sarvation army, whatever I can. still the
thought is on my mine.

i think about it all the time have done some volunteer work, but this
year i decided to be with family, you're not being silly at all just
sympathetic and caring of others like everyone should be

well i am going to be alone on thanksgiving like i am every year.sence
my mother died i have had know one to spend the holidays

Morena you have a great heart and sometimes giving Thanks is best done
by doing for others.
Our family is having someone to dinner who would've otherwise been
alone.
Since my son Joshua is in the Air Force away from home I could'nt bear
his empty chair at the table.
We are also collecting food for a local battered womens shelter
food bank.
If we all look around we have reasons to be grateful-even when life is
disappointing there is always something to be Thankful for.

I'm going to be alone Thanksgiving,cause my folks are out of town,and my
roommate just left with his folks to visit his
grandmother in south florida,and i'm gonna be here all alone
by myself,noone to celebrate the holidays with.I might just
go get a burger or something,hell,i don't know.

Since my family's in California, I will be somewhat alone....I'll have
my kids with me.

devin you are suposed to be packing your stuff to come to NY papi, soooo
make up your mind man, don't make me cook for nothing. lol,lol,lol,

good stuff Dramafree, Hazel I will also have diner with my children,
have been doing it since my husban passed, but after that partyyyyyyy.

single guy we are never alone,

I will be with family, but there were years I spent it alone, being too
far away or having to work usually being the cause. You're not wrong for
thinking or feeling the way you do Morena, you have heart . So yes I
have thought and do think about those who will be alone, no matter what
the situation is. One yar when I had to work, I took my lunch hour and
went to the senior home, and spent my lunch with some of the residents,
they were happy to have some company, happy that some one cared enough
to even think of them.

I thought I'd be spending it alone, but guess what - Thinking about
giving thanks made me realize I would not be alone. For He would be with
me, as always. And the phone rang. My brother's wife is going on a trip
to Colorado to her grandson's baptism and he did not want to be
alone....so I am invited to his house for thanksgiving. (We'll probably
eat out, but what the heck.)

Don't forget to thank the Lord for all that he has given us and pray for
those misfortunate ones, the sick and weary and our soldier across the
seas that are not spending it with their loved ones.

we eat alone every night, so what the hell, only diffrence is berger
king will close early that day, if they even open at all

will be helping to prepare dinners at the eagles this year, we are going
to have many guests who would not otherwise have dinner unless it was
alone. also deliver dinners to many needy people this year. for us it is
a tradition, same as christmas baskets, age appropriate toys and
clothing, for many in our neighborhood who are needy. of course we will
all be having a great dinner togeather as well.

being military and always away from family i got so used to being alone
that know its second nature.I will be at Shoneys at the buffet bar make
me feel at home,A military feeling you might say.Unless you have lived
it its hard to explain.

always have had been alone on thanksgiving--but thanks for thinking of
the lonely people and others

my kids will be with their father so It'll be me myself and I god it's
gonna be wierd
