You are in a relationship with a man, yet he's online flirting and chatting with other women.
Is this ok? You met online. Your thoughts? |

You are in a relationship with a man, yet he's online flirting and chatting with other women. Is this ok? You met online. Your thoughts? Hi Toody...that phrase "in a relationship" has a lot of caveats...if there is no meeting of the minds regarding mutual understanding/agreement of the relationship, then what is acceptable to one may not be acceptable to the other... In addition, the "relationship" could be a FWB or casual or "open" or an LDR Suppose the relationship is only an online situation where a face-to-face has yet to take place but each swears some sort of commitment to the other...that does happen and is something scammers have capitalized on to enrich themselves Just my initial nickel... |

Doesn't sound like much of a relationship if he's online flirting and chatting with other women.

I think that, in a relationship means, with one person only.
This couple has met In person an went on a few outings together. Just chatting online is Not a relationship! IMO |

IMO "a few outings" isn't a relationship.
Regarding your original intent (I think) if they had a serious relationship I'd say chatting with other women on the net would be wrong. |

Once in a Relationship and if they are online flirting with others it is not much of a relationship...
Actually kicked an ex-bf to the curb, due to I caught him doing just that.. It's still cheating to a degree~~ And I do not share well with others when in a relationship... And yes we met online.. many years ago.. |

Has exclusivity been discussed, and agreed to?
Or, was it just assumed? This, is extremely important to discuss. Especially, at the beginning of a relationship. |

I would say if they are looking elsewhere online or offline at the same time as dating you, the relationship formed is perhaps not the one you thought it was, maybe it's time to ask a few questions on where things stand. |

IMO "a few outings" isn't a relationship. If the outings are just him and me, and he's wanting to date exclusively, I call that a relationship. |

If you are not enough for him and he is still casting the net so to speak ,I would not be happy with it
