I did it folks my kids are 16 and 14 soon to be 17 and 15 both are involved in sports and good kids despite haveing a mother who would be better off abscent. Just remember to put your kids first and you will do well over the years I have seen many single moms who should never have gained custedy of their kids. I have watched them since grade school and observed the kids who turned out bad and it allways came from the party moms looking for mr goodbar. You will have plenty of time for yourself so dont be afraid to go it alone if you cant find a good partner and it is verry hard as you do not wanta revolving door of boyfriends/girlfriends disrupting their lives make sure its the one you should have married. (hope I dont sound preachy)

i too am a single dad and i have a 8 year old daughter.it is a full time job.i dont mind it though she needs me and i need her .she has all ready chosen me to raise her.i have not had a chance to date i scare off all the girls when i tell them i have a child.

I am finding it hard to date. First of all, I have been out of the dating loop for a long time. Being 41 and being a single parent of a 4 and 5 year old, does not really make me a "good catch" in the real world.

I wish I could find someone close to my age with children that are in the same age bracket. That will never happen. Very slim chance anyway.

Don't say never cause tomorrow brings new things. That and saying you'll never find anyone is saying you give up, or atleast to me it does. I'm not preaching. I just don't agree with never.
