I once had a dude who picked me up in a sports car, wanting to impress me. It had the opposite effect on me. Like Shania Twain's song "That don't impress me much!"
In a way he had to work 2x as hard to win me over and to make me forget that FU. I've had men I'd dated come over to invite me for a drive in a sports car once more. Same reaction: I'm not interested. Had he come over in a normal car I might have considered it. I guess I don't like men trying to use expensive items and money to show off. |
