Happy that I didn't miss the last day of Macy's extra 20% off sale, today was the last day. I just ordered two cute summer tops and saved $22.

Thrilled about my shopping trip today for walking shoes and hiking boots. Normally it's a nightmare to find shoes/boots that fit right. Today I found both, rather quickly, plus some socks... and I managed to stay a dollar shy of my budget. WooHoo, I have an extra dollar for the next purchase, haha. Since I had to go through Macy's to get to the parking lot, I figured I'd check out their clearance rack. I found a maroon cardigan for $5, marked down from $46. It will be perfect for work on cooler days and match my maroon work shirt. It's been a great day, so far! And I'm excited that I'm all set now for hiking the trails, both the paved ones and the terrain ones. Plus the hiking boots will work great for horseback riding and the lessons I want to take.
