Hard to breathe through nose, makes it hard to get good sleep.
Nostrils seem to get narrow only when nose is dry. I notice it was better when I put artificial tear drops in eyes for dry eye amenity. The Blink brand drops are just saline ion water with lubricant glycoproteins and a preservative. The eyes are connected to the nose, so it may be getting into the nose and providing long lasting moisturization. I want to experiment spraying the liquid into my nose. I only want to try it if it is harmless. Can you think of if anything I do not expect could happen? |

why not try a product made for that?
or increasing the humidity in your home/bedroom |

Try using a diffuser with eucalyptus essential oil, it would be much safer. Or like eric said, a product that is specifically for the nose.

Ask your doctor or a pharmacist.

Hello L.S
if the eye drops are reaching your nose your administration technique is incorrect ... Nasal and ocular tissue are different Eye products are intended to be used only in the eyes .. that is what they have been tested and approved for . There is a risk that what you administer ocularly or intranasally can make its way To unintended sites ... such as your lungs or heart , where it can cause harm . . Frequent use /overuse of eye drops And nasal sprays can cause Issues with rebound congestion . Perhaps look at what products you are using and how they may be contributing to your issue . You mentioned in other posts that you frequently use saline sprays .. perhaps you need to reduce the frequency or take a break from that routine . If the nasal dryness is new and you have been experiencing it for longer than 10 days or your congestion is affecting your breathing I would recommend you see a doctor /ENT specialist. |

Something I read about about nasal sprays, as Blondey said, don't use them for a long period of time.

I am just going to not do anything questionable like I had considered. And will stop using saline; which in not exactly normal. Humidifier is a better idea anyway. Humidity works.
Thanks for the sense, I feel less crazy now that I heard your thoughts on the topic. |

Humm kind of like would you use the nasal spray in your eyes kind of deal...
Never use meds that are intended for a certain reason thinking it will cure another problem.. Over the counter Claritin-D works great you have to get it from the Pharmacy... |

Maybe your brain could explode, or your nostrils would grow eyeballs. Didn't you just antimony poison yourself ? What R U doing man ? Your body is your temple, not a science experiment. Don't get any liniment or deep heat to experiment with, or look out ! |

You can always use a Neti Pot and flush out your sinus. Might help some...

Try using a Breathe Right strip.
Generally used for snoring, or congestion. The strips are used externally on the schnozz (nose), and are somewhat effective at keeping nostrils open. |
