The wind must have been quite strong to do that. |

The wind must have been quite strong to do that. The wind can be surprisingly strong and do funny things depending on direction and rotation which depends on what it hits or is put past or through. I never have tables out anymore this time a year. To be honest, I didn't get it up at all this year, hihi. And if it is out and I know a storm is coming I put it upside down. That way it's almost impossible for the wind to pick it up and blow it away. Sometimes I put a stone on it to be sure, hihi. The thing we must do in windy/stormy areas... I'd leave the strap on if it wasn't for me needing to be able to get my bike out. And the bins. Hmmm... Maybe moving house is a better solution hahaha. |

I’m not able to move my patio table as it’s solid wood and far too heavy. I have it covered during winter to protect it from inclement weather really. If it was plastic, it would have blown into the next town a couple of years ago

Ah, if it's heavy you indeed cannot move it. I do have a plastic one, on the heavy side but not large, and I do what I do so it doesn't blow away, hihi. I'm always afraid it'll get projected through the sliding door windows. As it is, wind is picking up so getting to that time to put the strap on the gates. |
