@ Delightful and Seamus... did you actually get to keep the heating off at all this year?
As it is, it looks like I will turn it up again very soon. Not happy about that but if it's cold... |

I’ve had it on more this year than last year although not much more. I’ve had my heating on these past few days to 2 hrs in the morning and 2 hrs at night. Mornings here recently are as low as 5°C so need it on now |

I have to say, the heating has been on more this "Summer" than it's been off 🥶. I figured as much as I mostly saw you posting temps of 15-18C. It's been one helluva summer, hihi. We didn't get much here either, except for that stinking heatwave a few weeks back. But at least I've been able to have the doors open for a number of weeks. Right now it's gone to 21,5C indoors so tonight I think I will need heating. Not to get it much warmer than 22C but to have a bit drier air. |

Is that normal in Scotland this time a year or is it (much) lower than normal? Let's hope that we'll get a nice summer next year! NO storms either. |

I wouldn’t say it’s normal for this time of year but the weather hasn’t been ‘normal’ for a few years now. Extreme easterly winds, more rain and flooding than before and sometimes even 4 seasons in one day! I was grocery shopping at 7 am today and it was a cool 8°C. Brrrr. Yes, let’s hope we get no more storms. It appears Scotland gets them first and then they blow over in your direction. |

This summer has been terrible with average temperatures of 14-15c. That's not normal at all and for the last four or five years it's rained almost every day through August and September.

Autumn-like weather being dominant. |
