There are scenarios in our life when we felt so frustrated and down that thinking straight is unorthodox...midst of the storm fighting and struggling... a part of brain says "move on"...the other part says "its now fine"....a philosopher once said "no one is an island"... a fact based on study...and somewhat true...one wished to stop...that can be translated to different forms...one thing for sure i know...the stone drops in the water producing a one way vibration as long as no other stone would drop it, no other waves would be created.

Well yeah. The ocean is deep, there is plenty of water in it, and in the water there is plenty of fish.

Everyone feels depression at one time or another. Sometimes it comes and goes but sometimes we hold onto our depression. Cling to it. We feed it and keep it with us. We ignore our own reasoning to let it go.
Depression can make us feel like we're alone.
It can make us feel nobody could possibly understand what we're going thru.
It feels like we are the lone ripples in a pond and when other's interfere it breaks our ripples and causes more chaos.

Expectations are usually a one-way view. Life is chaotic.
There are always good and bad ripples in our pond.
Most of the time, we can live with them. Make the best of them and find inner contentment.
Depression causes us to lose focus on the "good things" so we only see the 'bad things'.
Sometimes the key to beating the depression is to acknowledge the "good things" when they happen.
Actually say outloud "Well, this is a "good thing"."
We have to be aware of the negative stuff we tell ourselves and change our thinking when it happens.
We have to surround ourselves with positive people who do positive, enjoyable things with us.

Most importantly, we must realize it is us who live our own lives.
We must take control of ourselves because no other person on this planet has our best interests in mind more than we do.
This is because it is only us who live behind our eyes.
Nobody else can find our contentment in life but us.

Take control of your life, Its Your Life!

We have good days and bad days. Times, I am an island and at times I am a Continent.
Yes, we leave the stones throw of ripples, here is hoping our ripples are positive and not negative maps for our fellow humans/aliens.
Btw, I really like your posts. Keep them coming.
