i'm wondering how crystal's son is doing

I just contacted him. He's doing fine. He will need 2nd surgery though.
For now sodding around with just the one hand. But I'm happy to hear he's fine so far!

Laying in bed listening to the rain ( that finally arrived) and the wind

Almost choking to death on the tiniest little droplet of my own spit just now. Happens sometimes, too often for my liking. SO incredibly scary to not be able to get any air in your lungs, then having to cough and thus pushing the last bit that's in there out.
This one was a bad one. Thank goodness I'm breathing normally again.

Oh, you too?! It's bleeping horrible, hihi. I once had it when I still worked in hospital, right after lunch as me and colleagues were about to go back to our department.
NO ONE knew what to do. And that one took forever to get over, so I was stood there, panicking, barely getting air in, everyone around me panicking. Someone thought to be smart and call the resuscitation team. But then remembered I was still standing, my heart still beating, just choking.
It was pretty amazing to experience that even in a hospital, surrounded by medical personal, no one knows what to do or even does anything except for get nervous.

I've sometimes wondered if there's something wrong in the throat area? Cos my mum, her mum, and as a toddler my son, had it too. My little boy, just eating solid food, and so bad that in the end I daren't feed him anymore.
Like some reflex is off, or something is just too short or whatever.

Laying in bed wondering if my cat will make coffee and bring it to me

Recovering from hauling my new desk chair inside. Holy bleep is it heavy! So I cut open the enormous box in the hallway, then one by one take the parts out.
Turns out the part that makes it incredibly heavy is the mechanic structure that comes under the seat to go up and down etc. No idea what it weighs, I was shocked.

Variety of things today.

Another major project finished.... the whole outside of house, carport, porches, furniture even the car has been scrubbed down and washed, windows polished, I even repainted a couple of chairs and recovered the seats
What I'm doing now is wondering how the heck do I get so dirty while cleaning?
