Oh and i'll add one more thing...i hold a TS clearance on some of these matters and the picture the news paints is often very distorted because they are like any other tv channel they want rating and they leave a lot out. So again i encourage you to educate yourselves and learn to think for yourself and not beleive everything you hear. If the vast majority of americans knew the true story i don't think we would have half the debates over this subject as we do now.

I understand that there are a few us troops that have done some terrible things and i apologize for this...but we are not the only country that has. The difference between our country and Australia is this...Ausralia stands behind their troops and does their best to cover up any wrong doing...America is very quick to throw our troops under fire and put them on blast. We unfortunatly are a country that is divided and because of this we will fall very soon.

If this is true and it was just the "mistake" of the previous Prime minister...then why are Aussi troops still there? Surely your current Prime Minister could have pulled them all out.

This new Prime Minister has been in office for four weeks, so far The Kyoto Convention has been signed, the hunting of humpacks by Japanese Research ships, have been reduced from a 1000 to 50, and the Environment Minister is onto them about Minke and Fin Whales.... all Aussie troops will be out of Iraq by August...that's all personnel, defence force related...

Not bad for four weeks wouldn't you say?

but we'll see come August I guess...my bet is that if everything is still going smoothly by then , then yes Aussi troops (along with many American troops) will start withdrawing.
If conditions get worse, especially in the Aussi sectors, then then will be a "delay" of withdrawal even by Aussi troops.

Have you considered the previous Prime Minister created an agreement with your President, and that troops, ALL defence force personnel, TROOPS included are out in August... why August? When's your elections?

As to the reduction of numbers of whales... and the global community, who headed the pressure for Japan to limit their killing of whales for research?

And why hasn't the US signed the Kyoto agreement? Preferred to not mention that one?

Otherwise, coming into an argument and claiming secret clearance is pretty silly. 2+2=5. I can't tell you why, it's a secret.

If you knew anything about clearances you would know that i can't go on a public site and post anything that is labeled classified. My wife still doesn't know exactly what i do so all i can do is 'claim' to have one. I'm not about to go on here and tell you some of the things i learned from documents labeled TS i'd lose my job. But even in the TS realm there are different levels of clearances and you have to have 'a need to know' There are obviously people that i work for that have even a bigger picture then i do of what is going on. And we have a saying in there that is very helpful for things like that. A lot of times a newbie will come onboard with us thinking he now knows how to run everything until one of the bosses explains that is not how it works and couldn't work for X reasons So here is what we tell them "stay within your paygrade" you have no idea why the president is there....it's all summary from what the 'average' american beleives. I encourage you to talk to the men and women who have been there. I work with a few of them. So again just educate yourself

I know more about TS than you do clearly, because devulging the nature of knowledge is also a ridiculous risk. The fact you did it on a public board makes you even more at fault. So what branch are you in, exactly soldier? I really hope you just have a confidential clearance or else I'm really going to be ashamed.

The Confidential security clearance is the easiest to obtain. I'm sure you're also aware that falsely claiming to have a clearance is now a felony (Safe America Act, Military Commissions, etc)

What's your CID field office number? You should consult with them. Just because it's FOUO doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
