A mysterious pattern is left by my neighbor.

Imagine a concrete car park we share, (it holds about 5 cars if parked properly), with a 1 foot wide strip of dirt around the edge, for fence posts and weeds.

Every 1 metre or yard thereabouts, he left a fresh egg, and or a fresh apple, or a kiwifruit. I gathered them and binned them a few times. He was angry but said nothing. I don't want vermin attracted to my home.

The other day, spring onions appeared every metre, then a few days later kiwifruit. Fresh and new with little plastic stickers on them (again).
He is trying camouflaged stuff blending into the weeds so I don't chuck them out.

WHAT IS HE DOING ?

I had no idea, then - rotten throwing items, but you can't throw spring onions.

Is he attracting goats, or setting up harmonics, or trying to stink me out ?

Anyone got any ideas ?

Feeding wildlife or pissing you off. One or the other Iā€™m guessing

I agree with Delightful.

Also, it might be interesting to know that feeding the vermin is one way to keep them from entering your home. They get used to their feeding ground and will leave other areas alone. I've done this with raccoons that used to rampage the garbage can and occasionally find their way inside. I set up a feeding place for them on the other side of the fence and so long as I kept doing that, they didn't come into the yard.

Just don't ever run out of food for them, lol.

Probably nothing sinister. They might, as river said, be trying to keep vermin away. Feed anything wild regularly at a particular spot and they will not look for food elsewhere. It works for everything from mice to tigers

In the occult, placeing the egg, kiwi, and apple on the land will bring fertility to the earth for a good harvest at the end of the Occult year. This doesn't explain his attitude towards you though, you see, He should by rights, explain these reasons openly too you.

Thanks steve, I had suspicions of that, fertility angle.

It's still weird because we are well into old suburbs, with only scraps of soil to be fertile, most is under asphalt, concrete, paving, and buildings, and he doesn't grow anything that I know of anyway.

He is a young single man, so maybe it's for his own fertility; he is a bit of a fitness freak, and a total recluse, and hardly ever talks.

I thought of placing big yellow bananas in between his hidden caches, and laughed. Better not.

Its also possible that he might have mental health or developmental issues.

That would have been my second guess .

What makes you think it is occult?
Someone doing weird things doesn't make it occult.

Well no other reason made sense. I first thought rotten ammo, but spring onions and rotten kiwifruit are useless as missiles.

Eggs and apples are not known for keeping vampires at bay. Onions maybe.

Feeding rodents and vermin doesn't need accurate regular spacings, but maybe setting up a biological perimeter, or a certain harmonic, does.

Then they are all alive: fresh eggs and fruit and veges, I could have eaten them at first.
Most are round and produce life, spring onions may look like sperm maybe.

And I have read heaps on beliefs, philosophies, occult, animism, and dabbled myself. I think it is that type of thing.

I know lots of people are trying to do some weird stuff, and this is one of them.
If you have a good explanation, let's hear it; I'm open.

I don't know, it could be there's something mentally wrong with him.
Or maybe he's trying to appease some spirits or the Faeries by offering them food.
What I don't get is to do it out there as opposed to in a more private place.
Why not just ask him. Tell him your concerns about vermin and ask why he keeps doing it.
