Lulled by night's assuaging stillness,
engorged neurons deluge,
clogging the gullies of my mind.

Strafed the pearlescent flask,
that hangs in the black,
until it leaked like a sieve
pouring light on my task.

Trudging hip-wader deep
in thick mental muck,
panning for glimmers of cogent thoughts.

Excavated some rocks
from the folds in my lobes,
found promising flecks,
though none proved to be gold.

Horizons approach on this nocturnal arc
dams the deluge flow
and shifts my brain into park.

Yeah... it's become very apparent to me that my expressions don't connect with many people. Thanks for acknowledging what I share, Ladywind.

Perhaps people do understand, but fail to comment. I post my poetry also at a place where you would fit in easily, poetry is appreciated and you can dialogue with other like minded people.
