Self explanatory
I love animals, I don't like killing things
But if your going to hide under my bed, wait until I'm nearly asleep, and then attempt to suck my blood ( yes, I've had at least 1 ex like that I think ) , then, you have to go
I would be grateful for any and all advice

I have found clearing anything out from under the bed, and lighting and putting 2 insence sticks under there, drives the buggers. out, in 5 minutes maximum

Yes, I've heard of these electronic bats, but in my experience they only work for about 2 weeks
And yes, I've googled these home made traps, and got some feet

But come on mingle2, we can crack this issue
For the good of us all , and ( please forgive my selfishness ) my bloody itchy bastarπ bites

If there are any stagnant water features nearby where you live, even a small bucket, find it and breed within a cycle of one week. If you dump out rain water more often than every week, they can’t breed.

Mosquito netting and fan in the window can clear out mosquitoes, and keeping room sealed can reduce them in number to where any that get in can be clapped.

Incense and dust thereof all the time can cause one to develop respiratory allergies, which can be dreadful.

There are various natural and chemical repellants; if you have to go into an infested area with more than 500 /m3 you can put a net over a wide rim hat and tuck the edges into your shirt.

I heard a researcher on the radio the other day on this very topic who mentioned that carbon dioxide produced by the skin attracts them, andhad a theory you can reduce the number by actually wearing fewer clothes, but I have not tried that.

Or you could just crank the AC

A can of cooking oil spray and a cigarette lighter sorts them out.

I suggest extracting a little blood each night as a peace offering.
Put it in a bottle cap, put that under your bed.
It would be like having pets...

Mosquitoes don't like the smell of eucalyptus. If you get a diffuser, you can add a little essential oil to it and mist your room. They will hide elsewhere. You can also use it in a base oil like olive oil or unscented coconut oil and put it on your body. Either or both should work.

I don't know if you can kill them but like Detective rat said, get rid of breeding area. Get rid of standing water like boats, buckets, small ponds.

Thanks
There are bars around, big ones too
I'm in India
I have no ac
I generally keep the door shut at there savage phase
But the windows have to remain open with the fan on, and only 1 window has a curtain
There's not much standing water around, and there is, tbh, I'm not sure I could do much about it
Eucalyptus, hmm, I'm not sure where to get it from. A guy I know outs on some home made stuff his girlfriend makes, it's not bad apparently, but while I hate chemicals in general, deet is a godsend
As for the blood I would do, but I suspect the buggers would still bite me, or/ and invite their friends, yes, apparently they're attracted to carbon dioxide we breathe out.
But, thanks

I worked night shift at the shop located near a slow moving river with many stagnation pockets.
The shop was open and there were swarms of mosquitoes around every light fixture. It was like working in a fog of mosquitoes.
Our bug zappers were constantly sparking and we had to sweep up piles of dead insects constantly.

It was interfering with our productivity and we found if we ate garlic pills, they more or less left us alone. They were still there but not biting us anymore.
The downside was the fact each of us had serious garlic breath.

I live in south MS right near the beach.
There are lots of mosquitoes.
I have screens on all my windows and I keep my doors closed as much as possible.
I have absolutely no insects in my home but I still have a flyswatter and a can of flying insect spray on hand, just in case.

You can go on Pinterest and find lots of home remedies for insects like putting a penny in a bag of water on your porch and stuff like that. Just put 'mosquito' in the search box and hit enter.
