I wish I could carry on the hip. can't. I live in N.Y. I would be arrested for brandishing a weapon. They make you hide it... I guess it makes people nervous? I don't get it really. Only thing I can see is someone can take it off you easily.

For the gun guys out there you'll know the lingo, but even having the "imprint" of a gun under your shirt can get you arrested. I need to move to a different state. New Hampshire maybe.

I only have long arms. you can't carry them about in town, or put them in a plastic bag. Unless it's a really long one.

What happened to the biodegradable plastic made mimicking lobster shells material ? You could almost eat it.

The corn starch ones leave a plastic framework or liner. Still not good.

Bring back paper bags made from hemp, very strong and reusable.
And no you can't smoke it, or hemp rope.

Being that I work for a grocery store in Texas in my city twice has a proposal to ban plastic bags come to our city council and twice it’s failed. I know in Austin they’re banned and you have to bring your own bags. I do bring my own reusable bags every time I shop. Our chain does have paper bags upon request. Also both our entrance and exit we do have a recycle bin where you can place your plastic bags. Some people have told me they reuse their plastic bags for either dog poop or use them for trash bags. Our store has a weekly contest for those who bring their own bags, for every bag used you’ll get a ticket to be entered into a contest to win a $25 gift card but more often you have to ask the cashier for them (since they don’t ask if you want to enter) and the ticket box is close or near our business center. The way I see it it’s how they’re handled and it’s obvious they’re mishandled a lot :worried:. In some cities you have to pay for them so much per bag now that I can get behind:thumbsup: .

That is happening. Apparently not many are buying avocados because of the touch fear, so produce wholesale corps. aren't buying from the producers, and their year's work of growing and bug / fungus spraying is worth nothing.

A farmer's workers just all left their jobs and went on the dole, because now with boosts and bonuses it pays better than low wage farm hand incomes.

Perishable foods may be in short supply later on.

Other 'touchy' and low wage industries will be in similar trouble.

Did you learn anything new about guns in New York?

it seems those who carry guns are the ones angry at no plastic bags, after all, how will they get rid of the evidence is they user paper and it leaks and splits?

America... the home of... Donald Trump and sure of the weirdest laws on the globe..

there are many sites about weird stuff around the world, not just USA, they are funny and shocking as well as many totally stupid...

at least by banning plastic bags, America is secretly admitting they know plastic causes damage to the earth, wildlife, the oceans, global warming and getting rid of anyone with free speech the gov might not like, oops back to plastic uses again instead of carpet.

this is meant to be a joke and not so, for those that do not understand sarcasm and other kinds of humor/humour.

just a different view. just in case anyone from any countries didn't get that.

it's good they getting rid of plastic, it does a lot of damage, but so does drugs, the damage dune to your brain and body is not repsrable, they called it dope for a reason, with this virus going around drugs and smoking, will lower your chance of survival... you need your lungs to be full of what they was designed for.... toffee popcorn & coffee, no OXYGEN.

save your own lives, stop substance abuse and supporting crime.

plastic bag anyone? lol

I have my own reusable cloth or canvas bags. I sometimes forget I have them. I need to remember more. I have used egg cartons that the local organic food store/products take to reuse for the local farmers. I wonder if they still want them.
