Topic: FAVOURITE BEATLES SONG? | |
---|---|
Hendrux fan You might be right, I could be wrong But I base my statement, on an interview I saw with George Martin According to him, rain was first. And that tiny section at the end, was the first time he knew, that that, had been done. And I believe he also went on to say, that there would have been, no tommorow never knows, if it had not been, for those few seconds of rain The interview was something to do with the anniversary if apple studios, I believe Anyway, its high on impossible to choose a favourite Beatles song But seen as my dad, had tons of outtakes, way before many were released, and still haven't been Including all of bobs basement tapes, yes, I know they've released more now, but they still ain't releases them all I believe Then I will be forced to pick, the session track of strawberry fields, which is just John and acoustic guitar I believe that's available now, hope it counts I know the subject was covered in the brilliant 10 part PBS TV series Sound Breaking. Sir George's son Giles breaks TMK down along w/ insights from Tom Petty and super producer Rick Rubin . P. S. John played rhythm and George played lead guitars I also think Paul played more instruments .Keys ,drums,bass,6 string ALL the instruments on his first solo album. |

"Till there was You" |

|
Besame besame mucho
Each time I bring you a kiss I hear music divine So besame besame mucho I love you for ever Say that you'll always be mine Dearest one, if you should leave me Then each little dream will take wings And my life would be through Oh besame besame mucho I love you for ever You make all my dreams come true I need you |

I gotta go with Eleanor Rigby because I have a soft spot for MODES (a song which is in a specific scale but does not start or base the song around that note) - that song sounds so hypnotic for a reason. It's also perfectly in my vocal range and a great karaoke church (EDIT: "karaoke choice" I'm drunk, forgive me.). It doesn't overstay its welcome like a lot of the more intricate Beatles tracks either.
