Well, even if the final outcome hasn't been made public yet (I'm not sure?), Labour can pack up their bags for sure, YAY!
364 for Con! I didn't keep my fingers crossed for nothing :)

No, it was a convincing win for the Conservatives, I look forward to the Labour Party tearing itself apart as they blame everyone else but themselves for the slump in their support. On with Brexit.

Yes, and it's amazing how few people seem to be interested in it on here.
It's not just a UK matter, although many -incl Britons- may think so, it's much much bigger! This is the first step towards breaking the ones in power in the world who are ruining the planet, crushing mankind and all that was built up that was good.
This is HUGE!
I do hope more countries will start to follow suit! I know many Dutchies want Nexit, but we're too far involved in the EU (We being the government, not the people).

I know many English feared this, fear for the economy etc etc. At least my Essex friends did, they had very mixed feelings about it.
But I've always felt the UK is THE power in the world, and it seems they're proving me right.
As far as I'm concerning Britannia rules the Waves! And in spite of some Anglo-Dutch wars in the past, they now have my vote.
May you pave the path to a new journey for mankind, which I feel this is.

I share your hope that the dead hand that has held us back and denied us the future that we so badly need is finally having its grip broken.

Oh well leaving the EU then.

We'll have to wait and see how it all pans out over the next few years. I bet a few countries will be watching to see how we get on. I wonder if it will start a trend.

I suspect it won't be easy because the EU (mostly Germany and France) can't allow us to escape unpunished. I actually think that other countries will leave the Union as well. Italy, and especially Greece has nothing to thank the EU for after what was done to them. When the referendum to join the Common Market, as it was then was held, I was too young to vote but I would have voted in favour. At the time it seemed like a good idea, not least because it promised to resolve the tensions and ambitions that had caused two terrible wars. But by the time the referendum to leave the EU was held in 2016, I voted to leave because of what it had become: undemocratic, dictatorial and unaccountable.

Hahaha, in the Six Counties, the DUP lost their majority. Sinn Fein, alongside SDLP now one seat ahead drinks

I think -and hope- more will follow. I indeed heard that Italy has a very progressive politician (not sure if it was the PM) who is pro leaving EU and getting a lot of support.
Earlier this year Austria was doing something that was against EU rules. I think not allowing certain crap stuff from the EU into their country.
Not sure how that ended, if that had to cave or not. But it goes to show many (most?) aren't happy, except for the ones who are lining their pockets with it.
It hasn't done The Netherlands much good either. Lots of negative changes for home-owners (that was in the very beginning), interference with our environmental plans, all the stuff we had reached in that area. Now it's our farmers and there's loads more.
Geert Wilders has been rallying for years against the EU. Poor man gets castrated in the media and misunderstood. If there's one who has our country's best interests at heart it's him.

You never know. It's about time the DUP were shown the door, given the current crop of corrupt morons running them. Never thought I'd miss 'Dr. No' but at least he was honest in his bigotry.

I suppose it's true when they say that 'politics makes for some strange bedfellows'.
