The government is bad right now, we the people need to take it back from the corporations. Our voice needs to be heard. If we controlled the government, like it should be, the government would be great.

Congress should take control of our money.

we the people need to save America from the corporations that only care about stuffing their pockets.

Someone say Edwards.......did he not make a living out of suing the medical field with outlandish malpractice suits? and then complains about the cost of health care.......I know I read that somewhere, am I wrong?

The government could be good if it weren't so power driven and money hungry. It has become a unit of "big eye" syndrome, and all about them. For the most part; not about the people and the country.

Lie to get there. Lie to stay there. Lie to keep their riches and status.

What should I think? What do you think?

Open your eyes and Listen
Don't rely on just the US Media sources
Form your own opinions, thoughts, ideas
Based on What YOU read, see & hear.

Don't be afraid to speak up and out.
Big Brother has been watching from day 1.
But sometimes you gotta raise your middle
finger and just say it....

Necessary!!!

For a society to exist, you must have laws, rules, and orginazation!
If not, you have anarchy, crime, and fear. You have Iraq without the US military!

I agree with azrae1l get rid of the corruption and we have a good one!

Vote for John Edwards and we can get our government back on track and working for "The People."bigsmile

Iraq was not in anarchy before the US military arrived. There are plenty of people in the states who live in fear of crime too.

Patriotic is one thing, but going in under 1 assumption, then changing it...how many times over...we need to bring our troops home....now.... and stop letting Pride stand in the way of pretending we are helping this country which will have to make its own decisions which way they want to go, not us saying democracy is better... the US needs to start tending their own backyards for a while...

Yeah I have seen the people stand up and we should support our president and his decsion(yadda yadda yadda)... but many haven't looked fully into the background of Bush's family legacy and agree to agree...

And then again more people are concerened over Brittany's being preggers and which star got booked.....

huh

'Congress should take control of our money'... NO! Please don't say something like that. They already waste enough of our money as is!
What really needs to happen is for government positions to be filled by those who actually care about the job and the people they are supposed to be serving... rather than those who are trying to line their own pockets and try to convince people that they are wonderful.

No, they just had a leader who murdered tens of thousands of them a year. I am not for war, and I don't want to get in a big discussion about it. But, for all of you who are so anti-war here... is it not worth an effort to try to free a people who are being tyranized? I could give less than a care about every other argument out there... and if you are so caring about people tell me how a war where there have been less deaths throught the course of the war than were murdered each year in Iraq before the war (last 10 years prior to) by it's own government. I find it sad how much the media can influence us without our (the american public) bothering to actually think things through.grumble

No, they just had a leader who murdered tens of thousands of them a year. I am not for war, and I don't want to get in a big discussion about it.

Iraq was not the first country to kill off their own citizens. I can name several other countries where citizens were/are killed and not an eye blinked...And you don't want to get in a big discussion about it?? noway grumble Why post??

But, for all of you who are so anti-war here... is it not worth an effort to try to free a people who are being tyranized?

Look at the reasons for going into war.... this war was planned way before 9/11 hit the fan.... Big Bro and Corps have been pushing for more military installations for years overseas. Wars are good for the economy too....So are we going to go full force into Dufar and change their government regime?? Afterall over 200,000 people killed in 4 years and over 2 million homeless....hhhmmm what benefit would Sudan and Dufar region offer the USA??? Not jack shyt. But hey, send a few thousand troups to get the UN off Bush's back...looks good for the celebrities pushing for help...

huh

I could give less than a care about every other argument out there...

And that is a sad statement. Glad you have no morals, judgements and convictions worth standing up for...no wait... you don't care..........

and if you are so caring about people tell me how a war where there have been less deaths throught the course of the war than were murdered each year in Iraq before the war (last 10 years prior to) by it's own government.

Thought you just said you could give less than a care what people thought....?

Where is the data source for your numbers?

You above said..."it not worth an effort to try to free a people who are being tyranized?" Well how do you think that is gonna happen in a war there Spanky?? Sit down and play GO FISH?? It is war. People die in wars.

WW1- 8.5 Million dead 4 years
WW2- about 60 million people died 5 years
VietNam - 5,058,764 dead 11 years
Faukland (unofficial) War - 907 dead 74 days
Gulf War- 776 Coalition dead 6 months (Iraqi over 23,000 deaths)
Afghanistan- 733 coalition deaths currently 6 years (Afghan figures vary)
Iraq War - 4,198 coalition deaths (as of 12-14-07) currently 4 years (Because there is great debate on both sides, it is said there are more than 1,000,000 Iraqi people killed, but they have know way of knowing the exact figures)

Iraq is still divided within itself, some want changes, some would slice your throat just because you are an American.

They have declared a Jihad. Do you understand the word, what it means? Jihad is a "HOLY WAR"....and guess what slugger.... what land is deemed pretty friggin HOLY?? Iraq

I find it sad how much the media can influence us without our (the american public) bothering to actually think things through.grumble

Guess who owns the Media? Media tells us what the government wants us to know.... best place to find the real dirt, look to sources outside the USA to read about us.

I think until people open their eyes and realize you and I are getting screwed with a big red white and blue dyke and start to question things, find your voice and vote and not just sit back a spinning with Uncle Sam patting us on the head, "good girls and boys"....the more things change, the more they stay the same.

The government hates the poor and probably wishes none of them existed. It's been proven more than once. Louisiana was one example. And as anyone who doesn't have money knows, we are the first trampled on. We have to try and fight just to stay alive and the government doesn't like it. Even though we just want to work, no matter how hard we try, we are ignored. No help is given to those of us "in the crack", who have job experience and have tried all avenues to get work. I'd say that's a pretty rotten government, for starters.
