Your very welcome my dear Rapunzel Imagine my poor parents...My sister playing bagpipes and myself drums.Guess my parents were tone deaf...Lol... never got yelled at to turn it down The neighbors that was a different story, but we never got visited by the police.... hey it`s all good. When my cousin got married, she had a piper playing at the Church.....my uncle dared me to go feel his knees and see if he was cold. The poor man jumped----he thought I was going to look under his kilt!!! My sister`s best friend from the bagpipe band she played in, played the pipes at my sister`s wedding also...There is nothing like the sounds of bagpipes playing in a Catholic Church. Especially with the great acoustics of the church.None of us had kilts on though that day |

tonia25 i'm half sicilian and growing up i can relate to some of what you posted. I am not offended. I found it pretty funny. "i get so sick of the old time sterotypical stigmas placed on various cultures and nationalities to lock people up in little boxes with little names as if we all are the exact same replica of the other and any way, whether you think it is funny or not, it just isn't right to put down a culture in that way it is very distasteful and quite rude |

Hey Rapunzel this is the sicilian half of me speaking. Give it a rest will ya? It was posted to be funny by an Italian. We get your point, but what some find distasteful and rude others may not.

We get your point, but what some find distasteful and rude others may not. i don't care what half of you is talking... don't tell me to give it a rest this is all of me talking YOU JUST DON'T GET IT be respectful... and be mature treating people with decency is more important than spouting your lame classless jokes about someone's heritage ... i don't care what nationality you are just because something was started as a joke doesn't give it the green light to be spoken... or make it appropriate to pass along... it is okay to be serious and responsible respect is something that you are both missing big time |
