Relaxing after a partly failed grocery shopping. I needed mackerel and beetroot for a salad, finding both was problematic. Huge shop so I asked, turns out all ppl there are Polish and don't speak Dutch? Great. Next asked if Moroccan assistant if he did, he felt slightly insulted, haha.
Finally I got my stuff, pay, go home, unpack, but... NO mackeral, no beetroot, no salad?? WTF? Where has my shopping gone?
I checked the receipt, I didn't pay for it either, thank goodness, but where it went??
Now I have to cycle to the local supermarket to get my mackerel and beetroot, or not have tea

Listening to music and being stared at. *major eyeroll*

Yes Mikey, it's a tropical island and hurricane season, so lots of thunderstorms. They don't last long being an island... Unfortunately!

Yeah, holding metal rods during a lightning storm isn't a good idea.
I absolutely love thunderstorms, has to do with the energy I feel from them and they look really cool... there's also usually a rainbow afterwards

Here on the island it can be sunny at the pool but we have to close them because there's lightning a few miles away. It's quite a challenging keeping guests out of the pool when it's sunny out, lol.
