I find that women generally want to get into our gears and tell us how things should be done, we're men with real life experiences and I've never felt the need to drift into her lane to show her how driving should be done. I fear being micro managed by her, as if she knows better

As both Bluegrass and Sparkling have mentioned, it comes down to personalities. How much attention do you need? How much control do you want? How much responsibility for the other are they expecting you to take? How much will you take? Is it my problem, our problem, or your problem? That is where honest communications come into being. If you and your possible other are unwilling to actual say what you expect and think you can change the situation later, good luck!! You are asking for a great disappointment!

My life, love, and lady, is travel for months and or years on end. Always has been. When I'm tied in, I dream of being untied, and because of my word in the past, I always stuck it out, and sometimes resented it, but my word is my word....adamantly!
But my time for the last 14 years have been by far the best, and looking forward to the next journey. New Mexico, then Beijing, then southeast Asia, then back to the Sahara? maybe to stay. |
