Like smashing the place to pieces

Much calmer than I felt an hour ago. Thankfully I got to see the place I was moving in to before hauling my stuff over there. After freaking out a little/lot, it was decided I could stay in my cute little room in the 250 year old building for the next month.
During the interview and info session by phone, a tiny little detail was not passed along concerning housing... It's co-ed!  ... That, and them turning a small single room into a double with what are basically cots, the music blaring in the living space, men's shoes all over the place and it being a mess... I had a little meltdown and mentioned needing to leave and go back to NH.
The spa director helped calm me down and the HR director did a bunch of scrambling to move things around and decided to let me stay put until around mid October. I can use the kitchen in a townhouse that is all female and by mid October she will have an all female townhouse available for me. Yay... I can unpack!
