i think all the ages need to be changed.. teens and elderly..
teens have too many distractions and elderly pay too close attention that they miis 99% of whats going on around them..

PARALLEL PARKING DOESNT AFFECT ME AT ALL, WE DONT PARALLEL PARK. BUT GLAD TO SAY I CAN

Well, I agree and disagree. There are good and bad drivers of all ages. As for what Adj4u said about the parralell parking, Well, here in Indiana, that is still required on your drivers test. My youngest daughter who is 17, didn't pass her driving test the first time she took it. WHY??????????? The lady giving her the test failed her because she didn't paralell park properly. I thought, "What kind of crap is that"???????????? But, she re took the test and passed. Hardly anybody parlell parks anymore, do they??????????? But as far as putting an age limit on drivers goes: I think here in Indiana you have to take a driver test after age 75, I think. I guess everybody really should have to take one every so often. It wouldn't hurt would it????????????????

What's the harm in that. I've seen some great older drivers and horrible middle age drivers. And if the speed limit says 35 and you can't do 35.......you shouldn't have a license either!!!! |

It wouldn't hurt would it???????????????? whether it is done or not it show your ability to manuver the vehicle properly and should be required everywhere in ohio car driver do not have to take a parking test but for a semi yo have to take three of them parallel parking 45 degree park and 90 degree parking and also a serpentine test backing through i think it is either 4-5 cones on alternating sides these all must be preformed with a trailer attached for a class a cdl and i passed first time  boy was i lucky  |

Oh hell the test is too easy anyway! They should make the test harder. My niece made a 100 percent on the test and a week later wrecked because someone was backing out toward her and she panicked.

Maybe it might be fair to have all drivers re-test when their license expires, and undergo training or classes based on any infractions. For example, people have NO IDEA how to drive in the snow. Others cannot pass or understand why it's not okay to drive in the left lane parallel to the person in the lane next to them. Honestly, I think overall we should test more often, on the road and off. Driving is a privilege and anything below an 85% or 90% score should be failing.
