Topic: WHAT AGE SHOULD DRIVERS BE RETESTED

Maybe it might be fair to have all drivers re-test when their license expires, and undergo training or classes based on any infractions. For example, people have NO IDEA how to drive in the snow. Others cannot pass or understand why it's not okay to drive in the left lane parallel to the person in the lane next to them. Honestly, I think overall we should test more often, on the road and off. Driving is a privilege and anything below an 85% or 90% score should be failing.

what was your score

if i may be so bold

My score was 93% the first time and 95% when I had to re-take it after moving out of state. My on the road score was 98%.

And no, I don't mind you asking. ;)

if were just sticking to the elderly as far as when to be tested Id say when we hit 70 and once a year after that. I see to many time where they stop at a stop light or sigen and there like 3 care lengths behind the line or getting on the freeway at 2 miles an hour. the one I lkie the most is the ones that stop in the fast lane for nuthng on the freeway. Hu lol what about the ones that can't see over there string will. Now if your talking about the younger generation. I think it should be a couple years driving school before there allowed to drive and the age limit older

a couple years driving school

i do not think so

and any age restriction is discrimination

and maybe if you get 8 points on yer license

you should be retested

but age is irrelevant

i have seen middle aged do these same things

lol to many kids on the road that have no idea how to drive. I didn't and made so many mistakes and almost killd someone for being unexperienced driver. So yes a couple years because out of ten kid drivers only 3 will actually know how to handle todays driving conditions. Start at 14 diving school and at 16 get there drivers license.

i beleive around retirement age, they should have to retest that year, plus every two for renewel. and if they do so, theyll receive cheaper insurance.

I believe that if you have more than 2 violations you should be retested.
my ex is the worlds worse driver(12 accidents,6 speeding tickets, and many parking tickets)
as a mother and fearing for my childrens lives I would never let them ride with him because he was just to careless.
