I am 5'2 3/4" tall, my tallest height ever..(hit that traction if you want to maintain it) and tall men do it for me. I dated a guy 6'7" and we looked ridiculous together, kids started following us at Disneyland! He was a basketball player so maybe it was that. I tell myself hahahahaha Thing is, you can love a short guy just as much, maybe more because you have to overcome your preference..all in your own hands ;-)

Even I hope my future partner isn't that tall. Too much for my poor neck, hihi. It's more than preferences, also practicality. When there's a huge difference like that, one person is always going to be uncomfortable when it comes to height of wash basin, work top in kitchen, toilet height, seize of the bed, height of hanging kitchen cupboards, and so on. Height of settee & chairs & table even.

I remember going into a house my sister was thinking of buying and when I went into the kitchen, my first thought was, this was obviously built for tall people.

I dated a woman who was my height and would never wear high heels. I'm was never really sure if it was because she didn't want to look taller than me or that she didn't like wearing them. I only have two criteria's to date a woman when it comes to height, her feet have to touch the ground and I don't have boost her up to use the toilet.
