I'll say it yet again for the cheap seats....

Love is an emotional state that is only felt from within.

Let that sink in a sec....

You can't make someone else love you.
You can't do any specific thing that causes someone else to love you.
You can't put love on eBay and auction it off.
You can't have love delivered by UPS or even FEDx.
You can't force someone to love you.
You can't beat someone into loving you.
You can't buy it, barter it or demand it.

The only thing you can ever do with love is feel it.
Inside.

You can try to show it with words or actions but its not something you can give.
You can only feel and receive love.
You can't put it in a letter and mail it.
You can't send it by text.
Its not something that can be downloaded, sold or used for barter.

When you receive love, it is only your own impression of love that is being received.
The transmission to you may not even be that of love.
It might be something else entirely.
We call this 'mixed signals'.

In rare instances, you might receive signals that represent another's love directed at you and if you are in alignment with each other, they might have significance but the love you feel from their display is certainly not the love they sent. It is your own interpretation of their love that you think you feel. Which causes you to feel love.

States of mind happen within your mind.
Love is a state of mind.

When you demonstrate the love you feel towards another and they demonstrate the love they feel towards you, you pick up on this.
The actual love you feel is within you and only within you.
The demonstration may be real and accurate but it is only a demonstration and not love itself.
It causes you to imagine that the person loves you by deductive reasoning.
The love you think you feel coming from them is actually a manifestation of love you created based on the input you were given.
This can be disastrous when the signals are misinterpreted..

So, the only thing you can ever experience is love that is within you.
So, how do you act?
The trick is to read the signals correctly.
Check and recheck their validity.
Understand that others are able to feel love just as easily as you.

Just a side note:
If you find someone that displays and proclaims their love for you, but you might not feel it, give them the respect of treating them as honorable because the found something in you that others may not.
