It might take a while but despite how it's looking now in Congress it won't last. Now it the other sides time for investigations. TIC TOC.

WOW!! Trump even wants to take money away from the Special Olympics. How low can you go?

GOP senator says Special Olympics cuts will not be approved

"Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.), the chairman of the Senate Appropriations subcommittee that determines Department of Education funding levels, on Wednesday rejected the Trump administration's proposed cuts to the Special Olympics".

In a previous post, I said to give Trump a week or two and he would fu%^ up again, say or do something stupid and right back to the bottom he would go. It doesn't look like he is even going to make it a full week. But that's OK. The more dumb and stupid he does, more likely to be gone in 2020.

GOP senators blindsided by Trump on ObamaCare

"Republican lawmakers were caught completely off guard by President Trump’s renewed push to repeal and replace ObamaCare and privately complain it’s a dumb political strategy heading into the 2020 election".

No it's not us Vs them and who.is us and who the crap are them anyways. No the problem isn't us Vs them. The problem is everyone who look past their we egotistical bs in order to do what's right Instead follow their own hate to exclude even looking at an middle ground at all. It shouldnt be the us versus them, but it is in American politics. As I mentioned before, when it is about the WHO (who said it, whose idea it is, who did it) more than the WHAT( what was said, what the idea is, what was done) we are deep in an US Vs THEM, that blinds far too many from logical and/or objective thought.

my group is not to blame at all, their group is always and completely to blame. If you are reading the threads, I challenge you to take notice of how many questions are framed in either 'republicans' or 'democrats' with very little specific details beyond that, just lumping in everyone on one side OR the other.

It's like high school has spilled over into the voting public.

George Conway: Mueller report must have 'something pretty damning' if it can't exonerate Trump

"Conway, a frequent critic of Trump who recently feuded with the president on Twitter, wrote in an op-ed in The Washington Post that it was "stunning" for Mueller to include a line in his report stating that "while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him".

Pence aide says Trump will submit a healthcare plan to Congress 'this year'

"Former White House aide Marc Short said Wednesday that President Trump plans to submit a healthcare plan to Congress "this year."

“The president will be putting forward plans this year that we hope to introduce into Congress,” Short, who now serves as Vice President Pence's chief of staff, said on CNN's "The Situation Room."

“What you will see as far as Republican plans that will be offered will provide again insurance across state lines, will be able to look to reduce premiums and provide more freedom, and we're happy to have the debate with Democrats as they continue to march toward socialized medicine".

You can just about bet his plan will make big pharma millions if not billions. And it will be on the backs of the American consumer.

Fox News' Andrew Napolitano: 'Of Course' Mueller Found 'Some Evidence Of A Conspiracy'

"Donald Trump claimed “total exoneration” after Attorney General William Barr released his summary of the special counsel report on interference in the 2016 U.S. elections. But Fox News judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano told viewers Wednesday that the president’s legal troubles are not over.

The former judge said Barr’s summary indicated that “some evidence of a conspiracy” was found during the investigation, which only stokes further interest in the full report".

http://www.yahoo.com/news/fox-news-apos-andrew-napolitano-225037005.html

If there was no evidence of conspiracy and no evidence of obstruction, the attorney general would have told us so. He didn’t. So there is something in there.” - It seems Most of America tends to agree. No one outside of Trump's circle has seen the report. All we have is a Trump appointee saying there is no collusion.

(One step away from communism.)

Trump’s Latest Attacks Place Him in the Company of Authoritarian Strongmen

"It’s one thing for a head of state to accuse his opponents of being wrong or overly harsh. But to accuse them of treason, of betraying one’s country, and to vow to investigate those critics puts Trump squarely in the company of past and present-day dictators and autocrats, according to political scientists and experts on authoritarianism".

http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/trump-authoritarian-mueller-813585/

He must not have been much of a friend to Mcain. At least it doesn't look like it.

How Trump’s Executive Privilege Could Affect the Mueller Report

"Lindsey Graham and John McCain were best friends, which makes it more than a little strange that Graham has become the biggest Congressional cheerleader for a president who has routinely bashed his late buddy, even in death".

http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/trump-executive-privilege-mueller-report-814066/

James Comey Speaks Out About the Mueller Report

"The notion that obstruction cases are somehow undermined by the absence of proof of an underlying crime — that is not my experience in 40 years of doing this nor is it the Department of Justice’s tradition".

"Other than Special Counsel Robert Mueller, himself, there is probably no one person more familiar with the rationale for charging the president with obstruction of justice than former FBI director James Comey, whose firing directly preceded Mueller’s appointment. It was with some interest then that observers noted Comey’s tweet on Sunday, the day Attorney General William Barr released a four-page letter effectively clearing the president in the nearly two-year Russia probe. It featured the kind of photo that might appear in a calendar of motivational quotes: a lone figure (Comey) staring up staring up at a canopy of Redwood trees. “So many questions,” the tweet read".

We cannot let Barr off the hook for not leaving it to Congress to decide whether Mueller’s discoveries add up to obstruction or not. There is now excellent reason to believe that Trump chose Barr as attorney general because of Barr’s 19-page memo from 2018 in which Mueller’s future boss criticized the special counsel’s pursuit of obstruction in the first place. Barr was never going to find Trump guilty of obstruction, and he seemed eager to stop Congress from doing so. No wonder Trump was quoted this week as telling GOP senators of Barr, “I love this guy.”

Trump knew what he was doing when he appointed this guy. Trump knew he would let him off the hook. The whole thing is starting to smell like a setup for a coverup.

interesting read. So let's look at the market.

The Chinese economy is projected to surpass US by 2030, +/- 2 years.
Europe's gone sluggish, having backed down from chinese n S.Korean competion in almost all durables market, textiles, mobiles, solar panels, steel... Now that the worst of migration / exodus is over, Brexit may not solve UKs problems at all.

Nothing wrong if the world economy gets pegged on the Chinese Yuan except that China is communist - not a free market. Allied with Russian military, this is no joke.

Like him or not, DT's actions so far align with keeping the dollar strong.
This may be (already is) the new deep state, DT is talking about; but Americans don't seem ready for it, yet.

let's ask how UK lost her voice in the EU?
could be several reasons but along with the above stated Chinese factor, is Britain cededing the Pound to the Euro.

Just the way I see it.....not afraid to struggle...not afraid to fish.....not afraid to turn things in the right direction for our future generations

The Chinese economy is projected to surpass us by 2030. Are there any sources with which to verify, firstly, what that means exactly and secondly if it is true?

Dear Madam,
sources, mainly financial news, "Bloombergs, Economic Times .., including Indian financials"; been there for some time after China devalued their yuan. quiz any search engine (except yahoo).

also Chinese history that dates back to ...
& personal experience with Chinese project firms in India.

there are no company CEOs; instead there are general secrataries of Comm. Party of China who are in charge.
--xx--

what it means is after 2030, trade gets pegged on exchange rates of both dollar and yuan (like on dollar and the pound in the past).

worst case scenario:
the problem in a trade war is, yuan is unpredictable; can get devalued a second time. Result: US imports rise, exports fall; debt increases.

because of national debt (highest in the world), US economy starts to reverse.

For example:
if China sets a engg. / mnfg or distribution hub in Canada for more products (already there with Huaiwei Canada, Huawei India), then ...
Canada's economy marginally grows at expense of ...

-- We call it karmic cycle--
--xx---

Case: Boeing
All of above may sound far fetched until one looks up the list of products US is exporting today. Recent insistance by Trump on Boeing (largest export revenue earner) to recall their jets is, among several reasons because all critical US products retain brand names / quality.

The Chinese don't design own jet engines, so that's a relief. Unless you consider that they have started mnfg Russian jets.

--xx---

what this means to the average American is visible from recent gesture by DT who offerred to sell soya beans; while in fact the Chinese requirement is for beef.

--xx--

I don't think political parties on both sides had clear foreign trade policies in mind, till DT started his great (or ridiculous, depending on who you ask) tariff restructuring.

They say that nations produce leaders appropriate for the times. In my opinion, if Trump does not win 2020, it no longer matters cause with all his faults he managed to bring focus on the most really serious issue and potential solutions on hand. It's then up to the next president.

thank you. But I really asked two questions.

What it means and if its true. So, I looked for myself

So: What it means.

The size of a nation's overall economy is typically measured by its gross domestic product, or GDP, which is the value of all final goods and services produced within a country in a given year.

I found a listing of country and GDP here:
http://worldpopulationreview.com/countries/countries-by-gdp/

what is of interest is that when one takes into account the population, the rankings change drastically. So, should it matter that population will affect GDP and China has over a billion people to our 300 million? That is our gdp per capita is not likely to be surpassed, even if the total raw GDP is.

and Is it true?

Well, I have found Bloomberg articles making this statement about the net size of China GDP. But most have stated it as a temporary and not so positive advantage for China.

http://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2019-03-08/will-china-overtake-u-s-gdp-depends-how-you-count

What happens, though, if we see the U.S. growing from here at its 20-year average rate of 2.2 percent, and apply Brookings’ adjustments to China’s current GDP and growth-rate forecasts? In that eventuality, China’s GDP continues to trail the U.S. all the way out to 2050.

By that time, demographic factors will be weighing heavily against catch-up growth. China’s workforce, nearly five times the size of America’s at present, will only be a bit more than three times as large, meaning total factor productivity will have to be growing still faster to close the gap – and all the evidence is that, to the contrary, it’s been contracting.

Correct. Politicians love to play tricks with numbers when it comes to things like the trade deficit, sometimes including factors, sometimes not.

But the more important part of any statistic, and what it means. is WHY it changed however it did.

If the trade deficit grows, for example, because overall American spending grows, and that happens because Americans in general have more to spend, then the raising trade gap is a good thing. If the gap shrinks, because tariffs make foreign goods too expensive, but overall purchasing goes down as well, then it's not such a good thing at all.

In addition, if this ONE MONTH dip is real, but is due to the obviously very temporary effect of the tariff war, it is worse than meaningless. It is effectively similar to a statistic that shows that your savings account grew for one month, because you skipped paying some of your bills that month.

In our case, due to the huge tax cut for certain sectors, the national debt is increasing as never before, but is being ignored entirely. A very limited expansion has been accomplished by borrowing insanely against future stable growth that is NOT OCCURRING.

seriously..They pushed the BOGUS Russian Collusion story for two tears..along with false flags what else do you think they are going to feed us in hopes that we believe..Along with the false flag Smollett story..and we still want to take their words for what..The nation is waking up..we don't fall for their lies any more..SOME of us never did..these two stories alone should tell people something..MANY are walking away from the Dem party..and after even more gets revealed..they will be lucky if they have enough of a base to even hold an election..Is it not ODD..that what I just wrote about the assassin and dirty bomb happened so soon after what has come out about Trump and the bogus investigation..

They want the president out that is sure and they have pushed the racist Hitler Nazi dictator and everything else to get him out..while some are still falling for it there are those who know they want him out because if he stays in..their arse is going to GITMO..More are waking up to the truth every day..while others not so much..They Deep State/Globalists want to destroy this nation and it's sovereignty and are using the media to help achieve this goal..

When there are those who will question others who claim NO RUSSIAN COLLUSION and whether they have read the FULL report..they haven't read it either to say there was..my sources say that the investigation was over months ago and Mueller held back the results until after the mid terms so the Dems could grab positions..but whether that is....obviously there are those who know..who are now freakin out..LOL..SOooo for the Dems and the REAL Russian colluders and traitors..

HERE COMES THE PAIN

Of course if the dirty bomb/assassin story does come out in the MSM they will down play it..but look at where ALL the responders are coming from especially if they come from a military base..not to mention closing down 16 miles of highway..for just one man..really?..LOL ..connect the dots...

i have no clear idea on Russian interests in Mexico / Venejuella; may be it's because US (and Europe) have applied sanctions on Russia

so they see an alternate commercial gateway considering that US investments in Saudi Arabia for example, are greater than in entire S.America.
--xx--

but if we look at Canadian businesses, they have several more Chinese firms parked in there and Trudeau was about to ink a free trade agreement with china, 2015 - Trump's campaign rhetoric stopped that.

(please do not mistake this as being against Chinese people; i care, it's just that the world is returning to turf wars and China's CPC is in the lead this time)

Trump news - live: Mueller report said to 'undoubtedly' contain evidence of conspiracy, as president rages over Jussie Smollett and Mexico on Twitter

"The Mueller report “undoubtedly” contains evidence of collusion between Donald Trump and Russia, according to Fox Business legal analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano, contradicting the verdict of attorney-general William Barr and risking the president’s ire.

House Oversight Committee chairman Elijah Cummings has meanwhile warned of a looming “constitutional crisis” ahead as Democrats express growing frustration at what they see as Republican efforts to prevent the full release of the FBI special counsel’s 700-page report into his 22-month investigation".

700 pages folks. And the American people only rate a 4-page essay from a Trump appointee. This is beyond "fishy". This absolutely stinks like a barrel of dead fish.

Adam Schiff Presents His ‘Evidence of Collusion’

"No lawmaker has been more critical of President Trump’s relationship with Russia than Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA). The House Intelligence Committee chairman has long claimed that plenty of evidence of collusion exists in plain sight, making him a frequent target of Trump’s Twitter tirades. So when Attorney General William Barr wrote on Sunday that the Mueller report “did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities,” the president and his allies came down hard on Schiff. During a phone interview with Sean Hannity Wednesday night, Trump even implied that Schiff’s repeated exhortations about collusion could be considered criminal. “You can say it’s a crime,” Trump said".
