Sarcasm, testing others, and then putting up a tough front doesn't usually bring the results one hopes for... generally the opposite which only ends up burning bridges.

I find it difficult to believe that such a caring man doesn't give a crap about anything. And from my experience here in the forums I know for a fact that there are those who would help you if you truly needed it and asked for it. Just as you've helped others, even those you've had conflict with :)
