Are you living your dreams or just letting life pass you by? Eat, sleep, work, repeat.
Do you even know what your dreams & goals are? I'm not talking about getting a big house, money in the bank. More like this one thing that you maybe sometimes see glimpses of but then stuff it away with a "not possible" and continue with your normal routine. Eat, sleep, work, repeat. Think of, if you had so much money you'd never had to worry about that anymore, then what would you do with your life? Those kind of dreams & goals. The real important stuff. Are you doing anything towards that, or stuck in "not possible", eat sleep work, repeat? Even if you have physical ailments you can work on dreams. Get smart, use internet. |

followed every dream I've had, enjoyed the journey but I find myself unable to stay in that one dream, life is a culmination of a whole bunch of dreams, goals and memories of better times but also devastating setbacks and loses.
I Don't believe the eat, work and sleep routine, this is life and what really matters are the moments in between, moments we often take for granted, the mundane and repetitive days should be the ones we learn from the most. I can honestly say, I'm done going from one good thing to the next, there is no silver bullet utopia of happiness, if you find it, it'll change faster than you can say pumpernickel. |

Yes,I'm living my dream.I live on a beautiful piece of property large enough that I will never have to worry about neighbors encroaching. I've got a 17 acre lake less than 100 yards from my back door with enough fish to feed myself and half the county for life. Deer and turkeys that graze in the yard, Eagles and hawks that keep the rodent population under control. A nice garden spot that supplies most of my vegetable needs and a neighbor that raises layers and supplies me with all the eggs I can use. In season I have a plethora of mushrooms and wild edibles free for the picking. The only thing I'm lacking is that special lady to share my life with and that's what I'm working on here.

My dreams are interesting, they all relate with each other, much the same way as waking up everyday. I can kinda guess how my next dream will be based on how the last one was. Even when I have recurring dreams, there's slight differences. I can even manipulate them. I do have goals, not so much dreams anymore as I see dreams as unreachable goals. I'm currently working on some goals and back up plans in case things go wrong. |

That sounds like you kind of lost your inspiration... Glad to read you did follow your dreams though! |

I WISH!
I can fly in my dreams!! |

I WISH! I can fly in my dreams!! I've only flown a few times in my dreams. Once was in one of those old wine barrels, I made into a steam punk style helicopter type thing, and a few times I was able to jump high and just flap my arms. In those ones, I flew above the Earths atmosphere and got stuck in space. If you do fly in your dreams, just be careful. |

There has to be a hidden meaning there, that applies to both of us... OH I KNOW, WE BOTH ROCK! |

I used to have this dream as a kid that a giant lion was loose in the neighborhood and I would hop from rooftop to rooftop as the lion would run around the neighborhood. Turns out, when I was younger our neighbor actually did have a lion, I was 3 and younger during this time, didn't remember the lion or anything, but I guess I did subconsciously. lol I don't know what the flying is supposed to mean, but it seems to me that it has something to do with wanting to escape or being free. Maybe we both feel a bit repressed or something and need to be free. IDK |

Are you living your dreams?
Good god no. Otherwise what would I then dream about? Eat, sleep, work, repeat? Sleep should be relaxing and motivating, re energizing and motivating for the next day. If my dreams became work, and I only dreamed of mundane things, life would truly suck. If I lived my dreams, and I just dreamed more dreamy dreams, then I would be constantly unsatisfied with life, always looking for greener grass. ...Unless you're of the utopian mind that people can obtain a state of perpetual bliss? "I'm living my dreams! So I'm never unhappy, never stressed, there are no problems, only constant fulfillment and happiness and pleasant emotions every waking moment!" My dreams are right where they need to be. Those kind of dreams & goals. The real important stuff.
To me that simply implies an inability to find value in your life in everyday "mundane" things. Being unable to find value in "eat, sleep, work." As though the journey doesn't really matter unless you win at reaching some fantastical destination. |

Dreams are dreams, I live in reality.
If I were living in my dreams I would be flying around a different planet in a far off place in the Universe. Am I living to my expectations? Well, sorta, kinda. I don't have many expectations anymore and I'm just pretty happy that I am still breathing. |

My dreams are dreams. I would not be able to live them atm. I am realistic enough there.

No... but I'm done pouting over it and ready to do something about it... Just as soon as I figure out what those dreams are... they seem to change when I get bored with what I thought they were. One of my dreams is to not have to work for a living... to be financially independent without having to punch a clock or depend on someone else to provide me with that. At 56 years old, I'm not so sure that dream will come true, but where's there's a will there's a way. |

Yes! I always dreamt of being old and having to pee twelve times a night!

I had some of my dreams but it didnβt last. So my dreams had to change. I now have a house in the country, a river out front, a huge yard for my dogs, but itβs not paid for so that part changed. I also didnβt expect to be caring for an adult grandchild after retirement but sh** happens. I think I have finally found love so thatβs definitely one of my dreams fulfilled. My goal now is to enjoy myself as much as I can because life is short. Thatβs exactly what Iβm doing. And I donβt care anymore what other people think.....thatβs freedom. |
